About the Area
Harlyn Sands Holiday Park is family run and very child friendly. On site there are two indoor swimming pools with slides and rapids, a fully licensed clubhouse and restaurant (membership included), a kids' club and evening entertainment, a take away and large children’s playground.The nearest beach is approximately a 5 min walk away from the caravan!
Harlyn beach is RNLI patrolled and offers fantastic surf as well as a surf school for those wanting to learn. Harlyn Sands beach is one of 7 stunning white sandy beaches in the immediate area and makes up one of the '7 Bays in 7 Days' beaches.
Beach fishing is also a relaxing past time for many, with bass and pollack being most prevalent.
Directly next door to the site is Trevose Golf Club, which boasts 3 courses (including an 18 hole championship course).
Padstow is nearby, with many seafood restaurants and shops. A ferry runs throughout the day between Padstow and Rock (another of Cornwall’s hidden gems to explore).
Rick Stein has several restaurants in Padstow and Jamie Oliver’s 15 is located in nearby Watergate Bay (between Harlyn Bay and Newquay).
Port Issac is only 12 miles away, which is most famous as Port Wenn in TV's 'Doc Martin'.
