Our 6 berth, 32’ x 12’ Atlas Vermont Super holiday home for hire is sited in the private grounds of our house at Winchelsea Beach in East Sussex. It is an older caravan, but immaculately clean & comfortable.

There is parking for 2 cars in the enclosed area, which allows you to let your dog/dogs (max 2) to roam free. There’s also garden furniture on the lawn and a dog waste bin and scoop supplied.
In the large living room is a TV with Freesat, a gas fire and a double pull-out bed, providing accommodation for 6 in total.

The open plan kitchen has a 4 burner gas hob, a gas oven and grill, along with an electric kettle, toaster, microwave and all the equipment you could need.

There are two bedrooms, one twin with two single beds and one double, which also has a private door to the shower room. A second door in the shower room exits into the hallway, where there is also a separate toilet and a cupboard that houses the boiler. The toilet is fitted with a macerator so only the 3 P's can be used (pee, poo and paper) - all other items to be placed in the bags provided and placed in the bin.

Our holiday home at Winchelsea Beach, also offers central heating with radiators in all the rooms, along with Wi-Fi (signal is hit and miss though).
Location

Our Winchelsea holiday home for hire is sited in the private grounds of our house at Winchelsea Beach, which is situated in East Sussex between the historic Cinque Port town of Rye (10 minute drive) and Hastings – a full-on seaside town.

Winchelsea Beach has a Co-op (7-11), a doctor’s surgery and two pubs; The 31 and The Ship. Opposite the shops is Dogs Hill Road, which takes you to the recreation ground that used to be the old Winchelsea Harbour, but is now silted up with the children's playground on it and the local football teams etc. Continue along Dogs Hill Road to the beach (with small car park) although this is only a 6-7 minute walk from the caravan.

Walkers are welcome and there are many footpaths in the area to explore.

There is also a coastal nature reserve that has many lakes and sea flooded areas for many of the summer visitors, as well as the locals, which would be off interest to the ‘twitchers’. Camber Castle is also situated on the Marsh near the reserve.

Also close by is fishing, beach and boat from Rye Harbour. Wind surfing is very popular off the beach too.

There is a café' a 1/4 mile away on the Sea Road towards Pett Level, that offers a fine breakfast.
