Providing direct contact with the Holiday Home owner
This fully fitted & spacious 3 bedroom caravan on the award winning, 5 star Patrington Haven Leisure Park, is truly a home away from home. The caravan benefits from double glazing, central heating and Wi-Fi throughout.
With so much to offer on site (pool, gym, sauna, restaurant & fishing lake etc.) and being just 25 minutes from Hull, the UK's current ‘City of Culture’, you won't want to leave Patrington Haven Leisure Park.
The Holiday Home
Our holiday caravan has double glazing, central heating and Wi-Fi throughout. It also has a fully fitted kitchen including fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, slow cooker, microwave, juicer, blender, grater and weighing scales. We provide tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and spices. You will also find sufficient cleaning products, tea towels, hand towels and toilet rolls for the duration of your stay (Fair use policy applies!)
Our living room has a lovely gas fire (essential most mornings!) and a radiator for extra comfort. There is a smart TV with BBC iPlayer, YouTube and access to Netflix, as well as a DVD player and some children's DVDs. We also provide many family games from Trivial Pursuit and Junior Pictionary to Ludo and Charades. However, if you do just want to chill out alone, our Wi-Fi is great for streaming several devices at once. There is plenty of seating and space for up to 6 people.
We have three bedrooms, one double and two twin bedded rooms. However, the twin beds in each room can become doubles if preferred. Each bedroom has a wardrobe and shelf, plus plenty of under bed storage. There is an iron, ironing board and hair dryer in the wardrobe in the master bedroom. For extra comfort there is an electric fan heater in each bedroom, which blows both hot and cold. All duvets and pillows are provided. Bedding and towels can also be provided at a cost of £25.
If you are travelling with young children we provide travel cot, high chair, buggy (stroller), potty, bathroom step, toddler toilet seat, baby bath, plastic bowls, cutlery and cups at no extra cost.
There are two bathrooms, both with toilet and sink. There is an overhead shower in the main bathroom. Hand wash and a hand towel is provided at every sink. You will also find the first aid box in the large bathroom, along with 4 rolls of toilet paper provided for your stay.
In the garden you will find a rotary airer (there is also an airer inside if the weather is bad), a large garden table and chairs, plus a shed for guests to use. A key safe in the garden means you can arrive at anytime after 2pm without worrying about collecting keys from an office.
Our caravan is a 2 minute walk from the lake, playground, bouncy castles and country club. Inside the country club you will find Guy's Restaurant, which provides good quality food at reasonable prices - they can even deliver to your caravan door!
There is a disco on Friday nights and live music on Saturdays from 9pm; children are welcome at these events too. You can find information about the entertainment on the main Patrington Haven Leisure Park website.
In the club you will find some evening events; there is usually a quiz night on Mondays, bingo on Tuesdays and an auction event one Wednesday each month. Please confirm these events with the club as they could change.
During the school holidays there is a free kids’ disco at 6pm on Fridays as well as activities during the day, such as arts & crafts, sports, baking (these carry an additional cost, but are reduced if you buy a guest pass which gives you access to pool etc.).
If you want to use the pool, gym, sauna, steam room you will need to purchase a pass. These are free for under 5s or £2.50 for children and £4 for an adult for 1 day. You can also buy 3 day or 7 day passes at a reduced rate. The pool and gym open at 6.30am and close at 10pm during the week, and 8pm at weekends (giving you time to get ready for the disco!). The gym also offers various classes during the week, which are included with your guest pass (however - please book onto the classes to ensure your space). You will also need this pass if you intend to fish in the well-stocked lake.
There is also a small amusement area in the country club with some video games, pool, air hockey and two pence machines. If you enjoy watching sport there is a large screen and comfortable seating which shows big games at weekends and evenings as well as a full size snooker table.
In Patrington village you will find some shops, although I would recommend driving 10 minutes to either Tesco or Aldi in Withernsea to buy most things as the village does tend to cost a lot more. Tesco is open until 10pm and Aldi 9pm during the week.
If you want to visit the beach, then I recommend Withernsea (you can park for free on Seacroft Road which is the right turn before Tesco on your left). However, for a quiet and peaceful walk try Easington Beach or Spurn Point (both in the same direction). Look for the seals if you do go. There is lots of space for kids to run around and plenty of fishermen (and women) to chat to. When coming back you could stop at Patrington playground if you have kids.
