35' x 12' Contessa Mk3 holiday caravan to rent on Sandhills Holiday Park, situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty with private access to the beach.
Our caravan is situated in a lovely, quiet part of the park and benefits from double glazing and full gas central heating in all rooms, as well as offering stunning sea views and pine trees, where the Island’s red squirrels can be seen.
The accommodation comprises two bedrooms; a main double bedroom and a twin-bedded room, which can be easily converted to a double-bedroom. Each room has plenty of storage space for clothes. Pillows and duvets are provided, but you will have to bring your own bed linen, pillow cases, towels and tea towels.
The living room and dining area is spacious and comfortable, and equipped with an 18” TV with built-in DVD player. There are no DVDs available in the caravan, but you are most welcome to bring these with you for your own use.
The kitchen is fitted with a full-size gas cooker and grill, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, utensils, and a range of glasses.
The bathroom has a shower and wash basin and there is a separate WC with wash basin.
There is a large grassed area to the front of the caravan; ideal for children to play safely. There is a washing line provided at the rear of the caravan.
Gas and electric is provided free of charge.
This is strictly a no smoking and no pets caravan and no pets are allowed on site.
Sandhills Holiday Park benefits from a well-stocked shop selling a range of newspapers, toys, food, drinks, souvenirs, etc. There is also a laundry room (tokens available from the shop), and a children’s play area.
The site does not have a clubhouse, but there are plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance or a short drive from the holiday park.
The Wonky Café is located on the beach – a mere 2-minute walk from the site and provides a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks which you can eat in or takeaway.
There is a good bus service on the Island, which will enable you to explore all the major attractions - the nearest bus stop to the site being just a 10 minute walk away.
The village of Bembridge is a short drive from the Park and The Culver Inn pub awaits you here. About a 20-minute walk from the site is the Propellor Inn, situated close to Bembridge airport. There is also a large Tesco superstore nearby between Bembridge and Ryde.
