We have a beautifully situated 3 bedroom luxury apartment with magnificent panoramic views overlooking the azure blue Mediterranean or Tyrranean sea, as it is known locally.
It's located in a small village named Joppolo which is on the edge of Capo Vaticano and is only a short drive from Ricadi, Riaci, Tropea, and many more popular resorts.
There are balconies outside all of the bedrooms, each with patio furniture; the master bedroom and lounge share a huge balcony which have a unique sea view and is ideal for dining al fresco.
The lounge comprises of 2 comfortable leather sofas, a dining table with ample seating for a party of 8 plus. Also a flat screen HD TV, DVD player and air-conditioning.
Free Wi-fi is readily available.
The kitchen is fully fitted with microwave etc. For your convenience there is also a washing machine, iron, ironing board, hair dryer etc.
A Teppanyaki grill is available for indoor or balcony use ( must be kept under cover).
Smoking is only permitted on the balconies.

About the Area
Calabria is Italy's hidden secret. Joppolo is part of an area called Capo Vaticano and is famous for its red onions, olive oil, Calibrese chillies, huge selection of Italian wines and the original birth place of the ice cream. It is set amongst over 800km of white sandy beaches and turquoise sea, normally only associated with the Caribbean.Sicily, the volcanic island of Stromboli, Scila, Pizzo, Vibo and Tropea are all close by.
Travel Options
There are so many different ways of travelling to our apartment in Southern Italy.
The closest International airport is Lamezia Terme (SUF). Direct flights are available by Ryanair from Stansted.
There is also a new route commencing on April 1st from Manchester to Reggio Di Calabria with great value fares. Many people prefer to fly by any of the budget airlines, be it Ryanair, Easyjet, Jet2.com etc. to Pisa, Milan, Rome or Naples, then break their journey and resume it by way of a connecting flight to Lamezia Terme (SUF).
The train is yet another option and a great way of seeing some of the world's most beautiful scenery.
Car hire from any of the above is a favourite amongst tourists, passing through the Amalfi coast, including Sorrento, Amalfi, Capri, Positano, Salerno etc., the list is endless.
You may wish to fly direct to Catania (Sicily) which is only a 100 mile drive (via a 25 minute ferry crossing).
