Welcome to our privately owned, circa 40’x13’ caravan with extensive deck, in the prestigious and safe cul-de-sac of Harbour View at Rockley Park. The entertainment centre is accessed via a short walk, yet there’s no noise from the entertainment - only tranquil sea views and the popping of corks.

Situated one row back from the waters edge, there are great, direct, stunning views of the inner harbour from the west facing lounge or veranda, which starts at the front and wraps around the side. It’s also gated to protect toddlers and three steps down to sufficient parking for two cars. The pitch itself is wide and sunny.

The beach and marina are a short walk from our pitch, which is directly accessible down a short slope or steps. Similarly, the entertainment centre is accessed via a short walk. Also close by is the picturesque park and nature reserve of Ham Common, which offers outstanding views of the Purbeck Hills, Poole Harbour and Rockley Park beach. Poole town centre is only a few minutes away too, by car or bus.

A 3-bedroom caravan, it has full central heating, along with patio doors to front and on the side.

The living area is open plan and has ample, flexible seating and a TV with Freeview, DVD player, books and board games. There is a dining area with table and chairs.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, 4-burner hob plus, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink, extractor and plenty of cupboard space, along with crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils kept in plenty of cupboard space.

The main bedroom has a double bed, en-suite with walk in shower, sink and toilet, and its own television.

The second and third bedrooms are twins, each with wardrobe, drawers, bedside table and cupboards above the beds. The twin beds can be pushed together to make a small double. Bedding supplied, includes duvets and pillows. While the Covid risk remains, we do not supply sheets, pillowcases or towels. These can be hired directly from Rockley, subject to availability.

The main bathroom has a toilet, sink and bath with a full shower over. There is a shaver point and light. We also supply soap and toilet roll in both bathrooms.

The caravan is pet friendly, recently this included a parrot! Prior agreement of the specifics is a must and always subject to Rockley Park’s own limits. Pets are accepted on the understanding that they will not be left alone in the caravan at any time (unless crated) and must be kept off the furniture. Any damage caused by pets must be paid for or remedied.

Smoking is not permitted within the caravan, please remember to use the veranda.

Passes to use Rockley Park facilities ARE included in the stay price, for up to 6 visitors, subject to availability. Please note however, that availability of park facilities and entertainment varies according to the time of year and other criteria applied by Haven, who own and run the park. During the autumn and winter months the park is very quiet and there is little provided out of season. What is available is solely under the control of the site managers, Haven Holidays. There is also a vacuum cleaner, an iron, ironing board and clothes airer/dryer. If you have any problems at all please ring my number and we will arrange to have them attended to for you.

BOOKINGS

Reservation of the caravan for your dates will ONLY be made on receipt of the booking fee. This is ONLY refundable, should Government rules in relation to Covid mean that Rockley Park is closed. In all other cases the booking fee is not refundable if you do not proceed. The booking deposit is £200.

Please Note: Your booking request does not guarantee your chosen dates until the booking fee is received as we operate a first come first served policy. We will send your booking confirmation via e-mail on receipt of funds to our bank. This will include details of any requirements of the Government or Haven regarding personal details.

The balance of your stay price plus the security deposit will be due 2 months before the start of the stay. If you would benefit from phased payments please email with your specific need, which we will consider.

No hen, stag or other parties.

On arrival and at checkout you will, normally, be met, by prior agreement. This will be detailed in your confirmation schedule, which will be issued on the final receipt of full payment.

LOCATION

Rockley Park is situated in Dorset. The beach and marina are just a short walk from the pitch, which is directly accessible down a short slope or steps. Similarly, the entertainment centre is accessed via a short walk, yet there’s no noise from the entertainment - only tranquil sea views.

Locally, go Harry Redknapp spotting at Sandbanks, visit Brownsea Island and the RSPB reserve at Arne, on the way to Corfe Castle and/or Swanage. Studland Bay and Old Harry Rocks are worth visiting, as are Lulworth Castle and Bay, and Durdle Door. Stop off in Wareham on your way and visit the Quay, the Saxon “Walls” and the site of the Great Fire in 1762.
