Caravan Description

Our ‘Prestige’ seaside holiday home on Rockley Park, is located within a quiet, secluded position on the park within easy walking distance of all the park facilities and beach.

We have full gas central heating (combi gas boiler for plentiful hot water) and a homely, flickering electric flame effect fire in the lounge, so even if it’s not the height of summer, you are assured a cosy home.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas oven, which also has a separate grill and gas hob. The oven is large enough to cook for your family if you want to or there are many take-aways and restaurants on site and in the surrounding area. It is also a light and airy kitchen. There is lots of storage space, a microwave, toaster, kettle and all the crockery, utensils and cutlery you should require. We also have a washing machine which can be useful. The large fridge/freezer has plenty of room for treats like Dorset ice cream. One thing I love about the kitchen is that I remain a part of the family when cooking, as it overlooks the lounge and dining room, TV etc.

We include useful items like an iron and ironing board, and clothes airers.

The lounge is light and airy too, with patio doors at the front end of the caravan opening out to the wraparound veranda and balcony terrace. Along with plenty of sofa seating and a 42” LG full HD LED TV and Blu-Ray/DVD player, there’s plenty of children's DVDs and a few popular adult DVDs. We also provide some games and toys, which can be found in the twin bedroom. The lounge seating is very comfy and offers lots of room. The coffee table is also storage for two foot stools/pouffes, which we find to be a useful addition.

We have Wi-Fi, with the code is available in the caravan.

The dining table is well designed and seats 6 comfortably, with four chairs and two stools.

We have 3 bedrooms. One is a double bedroom, with a dressing table and room for a travel cot, as well as a 32" wall-mounted TV. The other two bedrooms each have two single beds, although these can be pushed together if you wish to make double beds. There is a bed guard for one of the single beds, which is useful for toddlers. We all agree that the beds are very comfy, with memory foam tops and all our family have slept very well here. There is plenty of storage space in the bedrooms, with wardrobes and hangers in each bedroom, along with cupboards and bedside tables.

We also supply a hairdryer, as well as three fans for use on those hot days.

Quilts, duvets and pillows are supplied . Bed linen is not supplied, but is available to hire.

You will need to bring your own towels.

There are 2 toilets which is a definite bonus. One has a small wash basin and one also has a large shower, which has plentiful hot water and a good pressure shower. I like the large mirrors in both bathrooms.

Outside, there is parking for 2 cars alongside the caravan, plus a patio area with tables, chairs and parasol.

Strictly no animals/pets allowed in caravan.

We use a local lady to look after our guests as we do not live in the area. She is very helpful and also will provide the bed linen if you require it.

FunWorks passes are required to use the pools and use the leisure and entertainment facilities at the site. These passes are NOT included, but you can purchase them on arrival at Reception. We can also provide information on these if you wish.

We have many holiday makers who return to our caravan, so we hope you too will enjoy your stay, have a fab time and return again.




Location

Rockley Park and surrounding area offers fun for all ages and is within easy reach of many places of interest. There is a regular bus service to Poole, the Blue Flag beaches of Sandbanks, and the seaside town of Bournemouth where you’ll find shops, amusements and a pier. All are within a short drive.

The Jurassic Coast and famous landmarks such as Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are also nearby. The cathedral city of Salisbury and the beautiful New Forest National Park are within easy access too.

For bird watchers, regular visitors include the resident White Tailed Eagles and in the summer the Osprey nest in the area.

Boat trips from Poole Harbour include the National Trust’s Brownsea Island, with resident Red Squirrels and numerous sightseeing boat trips as well.

We LOVE this area – there truly is something for everyone.
