Caravan Description
The Poppies is a well looked after and loved holiday home from home, 8 berth, very comfortable caravan set in a beautiful location; perfect for exploring the stunning sights of Cornwall.
Couples, families and well behaved dogs are very welcome.
Inside The Poppies you will feel at home and comfortable. The amenities at the caravan include central heating throughout and a feature gas fire in the living room area for the colder evenings.
All clean bedding is provided, as well as hand towels in both the toilet and shower room, and tea towels in the kitchen.
The cupboards are stocked with games, including the very popular Pie Face, and the bookshelves are full of books and DVDs. There is also a BBQ on the decking that we would love you to use.
We have also catered for families with small children, with added extras such as a buggy, travel cot, bumbo, play mat and bouncer.
A good supply of tea, coffee and biscuits are left for guests staying with us.
A rotary clothes line can be found in the boiler cupboard, to be used outside for drying beach towels and swimwear etc.
Dog bowls are also provided for pet dogs staying with us.
Also stored in the caravan are cleaning products, a hoover and a table and chairs that can be used outside.
There is space available for parking one vehicle beside the caravan with an added car park close by on site.

About the Area
Lanyon Holiday Park is a quiet, friendly and family run site in Redruth, Cornwall.On site facilities include: a children's play area with trampolines, slides, swings and a sand pit; swimming pool; pub that sells food in the evenings and a snack van where you can purchase hot food and drinks up until lunchtime (seasonal); RJ's snack van that sells necessities including milk, tea, coffee, toilet rolls etc., as well as toys and souvenirs.
At Reception they will be happy to provide you with leaflets and information on places of interest to visit and are available to help in emergencies.
There is also a launderette and a dog walking field on site.
Within walking distance, or a short car journey, are both the Great Flat Lode and Four Lanes village, which has two local pubs, a Post Office and shop, plus a whole range of popular takeaways, shops and a 24 hour Tesco supermarket.
Within a 10 minute drive there are plenty of beautiful places to visit, including Stithians Lake, Tehidy Country Park, Carnkie Monument, Wheal Buller riding school, Heartlands Heritage Museum and play park, Carn Brea Leisure Centre, Portreath beach with the Atlantic fish & chips café (highly
recommended) and Porthtowan beach with the well-known Blue Bar.
Many other tourist attractions adn places of interest can also be found nearby.
