Lovely light airy static caravan with large decking to let on Winchelsea Sands, Rye, East Sussex.

We have welcomed some lovely families in previous years and gained consistent certificates of excellence. The caravan is still available for the winter getaways and we have also decided to continue offering our caravan where available for 2019 so will hopefully provide some more memorable holidays.

Please see the price tab for an example of costs throughout the year but we are fully FLEXIBLE on how many nights or which days of the week you can book from so please just ask.

Our caravan is privately owned and cared for, with the aim of giving you the best possible, easy and relaxing time, so you can enjoy your break and put the kettle on as soon as you arrive; no making your own beds!

The caravan itself caters for up to 8 people plus a baby/toddler, with bedding, towels, toilet roll and kitchen utensils all included as standard in the price.

We have 3 bedrooms, 1 double room, 1 bunk bed room and 1 room with twin beds (or double if pushed together). There is also a fold-out double in the living room. A fabric travel cot and high chair are available on request.

Amenities within the caravan include a fridge, microwave, kettle and tea making facilities, plus a TV/DVD in the living room and in the double bedroom..

The deep base shower cubicle makes a great baby/toddler bath and there are laundry facilities on site if required.

Bedding is provided for up to 6 people or 8 where arranged.

Please note that this is strictly a non-smoking caravan. Smoking must not be in or directly outside the caravan and please be aware of smoking near to gas canisters on site.

We do allow well behaved dogs by arrangement at no extra cost, but not on the furniture please. If you are not a doggy family you can be sure our thorough cleaning regime ensures that you would never know that we accept dogs.

This park is quieter than the larger parks meaning YOU can choose whether you join in with the entertainment and activities or not.

Our caravan is situated away from the evening entertainment building, but close enough for the kids to run to the playground (…but not too close to be disturbed) and we are conveniently located near to the car parking facilities.

PLEASE NOTE: We also have a friend with a caravan on the same site that could be booked at the same time for a group booking under these same conditions.

Bookings must be made by a responsible adult.

Any same sex groups or young groups looking for an opportunity to arrange a party will be cancelled and turned away on arrival if necessary.

Additional booking form naming each guest and age is a requirement of our insurance agreement.

About the Area

Winchelsea Sands is in a wonderful area of the world with the beach and Rye Nature Reserve on one side and miles of rolling fields and walks on the other. We are located on very flat land from the doorstep, so perfect for ramblers, dog walkers and family bike rides.

The Park is surrounded by local markets, must see historic villages such as Rye, Battle, Hastings old town fishing village with fun packed classic amusements and crazy golf, and Camber Sands with its 7 miles of sand dunes and beaches, which is only 15 minutes away.

Further afield we are in an ideal location for days out to Brighton, Royal Tonbridge Wells, Canterbury, shopping trips to Ashfords Designer Outlet or Bluewater Shopping Centre. Local attractions and days out also include National Trust properties such as Bodium Castle, Batemans and Sissinghurst. Wild Animal adventures such as Drusillas Park, Port Lympe and the Aquariums at Hastings and Brighton are also nearby. Just for fun, there is Go Ape, Laser Zones, horse riding, indoor rock climbing, adrenaline fuelled water sports, farms, art galleries and museums - just too much to list!

Here on the Winchelsea Sands site, entertainment passes for your stay are purchased from reception at £5 per person for the duration of your stay. On site there is an outdoor, but nice and warm heated swimming pool, a bar/restaurant with evening entertainment, kids’ club for 5-14 year olds, playground, arcade and amusement Gamezone, Co-op shop, popular mobile fish and chip shop on a Friday… and don't forget the resident wild ducks that are always here to greet you!
