Florida Park has it’s own club house with nightly entertainment and cash bingo and lots of fun for the whole family there are other clubhouses on other sites that can be used too and offer free entry and entertainment.
The beach is a 10 to 15 minute relaxed walk from the chalet. If the car is used, there are plenty of car parking areas. The journey either walking or driving will take you through Hemsby's High Street and the attractions here, which include amusement arcades, prize bingo, a small fairground, crazy golf and go-karting.

There are various cafe's, fish and chip shops, sea food stalls and burger stalls, as well as Chinese and Indian takeaways. The pub is called The Lacon Arms, which is almost on the beach and offers outside seating and cooked food.

Other shops found in the high street include fashion, novelty and a launderette.

Driving to Great Yarmouth takes about 15 minutes and bus timings vary depending upon the route taken. Entertainment in Great Yarmouth includes greyhound racing, stock car racing, horse racing, the pleasure beach funfair, Joyland funfair for children and the Pier Theatre where famous names in show business entertain. There is also a six screen cinema.

Places of interest for the family in the surrounding area include a bygone model village in the nearby village of Fleggburgh, a vintage car collection at Caster Castle and a wildlife centre garden at Thrigby. Towards Lowestoft is a theme park called Pleasurewood Hills.

For grocery shopping you will find a Co-op in Hemsby village, a small Tesco en-route to Great Yarmouth, or in Great Yarmouth itself a large Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Lidl and Aldi so plenty to do Also the open topper bus has started to run into Yarmouth so take the bus and don’t worry about parking also there is a direct bus from Hemsby opposite the coop that takes you to the beautiful city of Norwich which is a fantastic day out also that bus takes you to Roy’s at Wroxham another great place to visit plus the 717 brings you back to Hemsby and and if you have a concession pass they can been used on all buses same rules apply
