We have three identical south facing holiday chalets available for hire, which are all in the same row side by side No’s 37, 38 and 39. They are ideal for families, and large groups of friends that would like to be together. They are sited on Sundowner Holiday Park, which is situated near the village of Hemsby, just 7 miles from Great Yarmouth and 24 miles from the beautiful city of Norwich.

Sundowner is a family orientated chalet park, but still offers peace and tranquillity. The beautiful beaches of Newport and Hemsby are just a few minutes away and are famous for their golden sands and wonderful bathing in unspoiled, uncrowded conditions. It is also close to Winterton Valley Dunes; great for quiet walks.

Our 3 chalets are identical in size and decor, and are located in a quiet part of the Holiday Park, within enclosed square grassed terraced chalets where children can safely play. There is plenty of car parking situated to the side of the chalets.

Each of our chalets has 2 bedrooms and sleep 4-6 people (2 in each bedroom and 2 on a bed-sofa in the lounge). They are fully double glazed, comfortably furnished to high standards.

Prices range from £235 per week in the early part of the season to £425 in the peak.

Bedding and electricity are included, you only need to bring towels

Each chalet has a fitted kitchen with fridge, cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster. They have crockery, cutlery and cooking and dining needs to make your self-catering holiday as comfortable and stress free as possible.

The lounge has a comfortable seating area with a sofa bed, Freeview TV with DVD.

The bedrooms have a double bed in one and twin single beds in the other. There are built-in wardrobes in both for storage. Bed linen is provided, just bring your own towels.

The bathroom has a bath with shower over, a basin and toilet.

Bookings & Conditions

When making an enquiry, please specify the number of adults, children and pets. We permit up to 2 small dogs and charge £25 to cover additional cleaning.

A refundable deposit of £60 per week is required to secure your booking, which also acts as a care and respect bond to cover any breakages or damage. This will be returned a week after your holiday, once the chalet has been cleaned and inspected.

We cover 7 day breaks and more, along with three and four day short breaks by prior arrangement, but not usually available in the peak season.

We regret that we cannot accept bookings for young all male or all female parties.

About the Area

There are shops, amusements, a cafe, and pub just behind the site. Further shops and clubs are located within a couple of minute's walk on Newport Road, and in Hemsby village.

There is also a clubhouse and an indoor swimming pool in the neighbouring site across the road, which is open to everyone (fee payable at the pool - the club is free entry), and another club/bar just up the road.

We provide an information pack with ideas of places to go and visit, as well as tips on getting the most out of your holiday in Hemsby.

Hemsby is the gateway to the Norfolk Broads.
