About the Area

Shorefield Country Park is a fabulous 5 star rated park set in 100 acres of delightful, landscaped parkland. Close to the coast and New Forest National Park, it is a perfect setting to relax or explore the beautiful countryside.

The on-site clubhouse features bars, eateries and regular entertainment for the whole family, including a small amusement arcade. New for 2016 is an adult only bar area.

The excellent leisure facilities offered by Shorefields include a small stocked fishing lake (rod licence required) and a leisure club with a heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room and spa bath. There is also a fully equipped gym and beauty spa.

Also on site there are tennis courts and crazy golf, a launderette and Spar shop which is well-stocked with groceries, souvenirs and DVD hire.

A children's club operates during holiday seasons.

This lovely area bursts with attractions to suit everyone in the family. There are designated cycle paths and lovely walks in the surrounding area, which are the best way to see the native New Forest ponies and deer.

Paultons Park with its featured Peppa Pig world, is close by. Tickets can be obtained from reception.

During the summer months there is an open-topped bus tour that can be picked up on site, which has routes that go all around the New Forest.

Beaulieu Motor museum is nearby, which is a nice day out with lovely walks through gardens and along the river.

The long sandy beaches of Mudeford and Bournemouth are close by as is Lymington, renowned for its sailing, historic street market on Saturdays and cobbled streets leading to the Quay. It also has plenty of shops and ferries for day trips to Isle of Wight.

The famous Exbury Gardens is well worth a day visit for its beautiful gardens and small steam train running through the gardens.

Lepe Country Park is also worth a day trip. In fact, there is so much to see and do in the surrounding area you will be spoilt for choice. However, if you don't want to go too far the pebbled beach at Hordle Cliffs is just a short walk from the Country Park.
