Our caravan is in a great location on the brilliant Trimingham House Caravan Park. It has all facilities, including a clubhouse, heated outdoor swimming pool, children's pool with small slide (perfect for under 5s), a games room, shop, launderette and a café/snack bar that serves all day breakfast throughout the day by the pool. There are BBQ evenings to be enjoyed by the clubhouse in the summer months too.

A bus service runs from the entrance of the caravan park to the surrounding towns and villages.

This is a perfect location for coastal walks or a relaxing family break.

Trimingham near Cromer on the North Norfolk coast is a lovely area for old and young alike. It is near to the charming village of Mundesley with its crazy golf course (great for families), good choice of takeaways, pubs (The Ship Inn being a great place to eat) and local shops. There is also a Tesco store.

The village of Overstand is 2.5 miles away, with the beautiful Sea Marge Hotel; ideal for afternoon cream teas. For food lovers enjoy a great meal at the Foundry Arms in Northrepps, and don't forget to sample the Cromer crab and lobster.

The Victorian seaside town of Cromer is 10 minute drive away and offers shores, restaurants, a pier with theatre, pubs, supermarket, museums, cinema, amusements and a train and bus station. In August they host a spectacular carnival week - make your way to the pier to watch the firework display; fun for all.

Fishing at Gimmingham Lake is just 2 miles away.

Sheringham, 11 miles away, is a lovely seaside town that has a 40s weekend and focuses around the Steam Railway in September (not to be missed).

A little further north around the coast, are the villages of Wells-next-the-Sea voted the 'Best Beach in Britain' and Cley with its famous windmill and bird reserve to name just a couple.

To the south is Great Yarmouth with all its facilities (30 miles).

The historic City of Norwich is within easy reach too and north Norfolk is a birdwatcher's paradise with its rolling countryside, spectacular coastline, miles of glorious beaches and picturesque market towns and villages. The village of Blackney and its famous boat trips to see the seals, is a must.
