Welcome to our beautiful 2018 Helmsley Lodge for hire on Greenacres Holiday Park in Portmadog, Wales.
Our platinum standard holiday home is full of homely charm with first class facilities and in a great location. Although called a Lodge, we class it as a baby Lodge as it is larger than a caravan, but not as large as the massive Lodges!
We are sited on Glaslyn, which is next to the nature reserve on site and a few minutes’ walk over the sand dunes from the glorious Black Rock Sands beach.
We have a lovely open lounge dining room and kitchen, with a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and oven. The lounge has a free standing corner sofa & luxurious armchair, a 40" Freeview TV and DVD player.
There is a double bedroom with en-suite, two twin bedrooms and a large bathroom with shower. We also have full central heating and double glazing.
Outside we have decking wrapped around with outdoor lounge furniture for those alfresco moments!
We are surrounded by grass and trees, with our own parking space and we back onto a small stream where we quite often feed the ducks and ducklings!
The caravan comes equipped with quilts (1 double & 4 singles) and pillows, so you only need to bring pillow cases, quilt covers & bottom sheets. Also don't forget to bring your own towels & tea towels.
Some items are left in the lodge including a slow cooker and air fryer, and then the basics of toilet roll, washing up liquid etc. please feel free to use these and simply return or replace them as necessary.
We hope you will enjoy staying in our holiday home as much as we do!!

About the Area
This Haven site offers something for everyone. With a lovely indoor swimming pool, outdoor children's splash zone, amusements, live entertainment, mini golf, and loads of fun kids’ activities through the day (extra costs incurred directly with the park).In order to access the on site facilities passes are required, these are not included in the rental and can be purchased on site.
The site has a cabaret lounge with regular entertainment for children and adults, and a pub/restaurant ‘The Mash and Barrel’ which is great for showing sports events and evening entertainment,
The eating facilities are fantastic for holiday makers with the Mash & Barrel, a take away fish and chip shop, even a Millie's Cookies! There is also go kart hire and a launderette.
The site is a short walk to the beach (5-10 minutes), it's also a short distance (5 minute drive) from Portmadog which has a Tesco, Aldi, Lidl and a selection of little high street shops. A little further afield (10 minutes’ drive) is Cricceth with a lovely beach & tea rooms. Further still (25 minutes) is Pwehlli which is a slightly bigger town with some larger shops, even further still (35 minutes) is the beautiful Abersoch with its amazing beach, water sports & shops.
This is a great family holiday home with something to keep everyone entertained, or even for a relaxing retreat in luxurious accommodation, and just a stroll away from the beautiful beach.
