Caravan Description
We have a caravan for hire on our own private land; an extensive, grassed, well spaced site, completely surrounded by ancient trees and wooden fencing making it safe for small children.
There are far reaching views across the beautiful Cornish countryside - all owned by the farm.
It is a 6 berth, fully equipped, self catering caravan with one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and vanity unit, separate toilet room, galley kitchen and spacious lounge/dining area.
The kitchen has a full size fridge with freezer box, full sized cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster and a full range of cooking equipment.
The lounge/dining area has a dining table, spacious corner seating, colour TV and a DVD player.
The caravan offers far reaching views across the farm's open countryside. A picnic table and BBQ are provided, enabling visitors to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the spectacular Cornish sunsets.
All gas and electric is included in the hire price.
Duvets and pillows are provided too, but bed linen is not included.
There is free use of a washing machine at our near by farm house.
Smoking is not allowed in the caravan. You may smoke outside only, but NOT in play areas.
Well behaved pets are allowed at small extra charge. They must not to be left unattended in the caravan.

About the Area
Leave your hectic city life behind and come and say at 'Mudgeon', a 220 acre dairy farm situated half way between St Martin and the beautiful Helford River, which can be reached by a stroll along the farm's private Nature Trail.Our farm has an extensive play area with tree house, swings, slides, bridges and climbing frame. There is an indoor play room with table tennis, snooker and numerous soft ball games. Here, there is also a large viewing gallery where the daily milking of the cows can be watched. Interested visitors can look around the farm or see baby calves being fed daily.
The farm has two family horses, Molly and Milly, and two friendly sheep dogs, Joss and her puppy Ivy.
The lizard Peninsula is 'An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. It boasts magnificent scenery, rugged coastline and pretty fishing coves, including Cadgwith, Porthallow and Coverack. There are also numerous beautiful, safe and sandy beaches, including Coverack, Gillan, Kennack Sands, Gunwallow, Poldhu and the world famous Kynance Cove, all within a few minutes drive.
Within an hour's drive are numerous attractions, including Flambards, Eden Project, Land's End, many National Trust gardens and properties and other beaches, including Praa Sands, Marazion, Peranuthano, St Ives, Gwithian and Sennen.
