Caravan Description
Our beautiful 2 bedroom caravan (Rowena Holiday Caravan) is equipped to a high standard.
Situated next to a dry burn and walled garden, which is a safe area for children to play, is spacious, cosy and perfect for family holidays.
The sitting room and dining area is equipped with a 22" LCD TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD radio cassette player, gas fire and pull-out double bed, with duvet and pillows included.
We have many books to read, DVDs to watch and a range of board games in case it rains.
The kitchen has a full size gas cooker with oven and grill, microwave, fridge freezer . There is also an iron,ironing board and hoover.
There are two bedrooms; one double bedroom and a twin bedroom both with wardrobes and storage space.
There is heating in both bedrooms and the bathroom.
Outside there is a decking area with table and chairs and loungers, where you can enjoy a meal and a drink with beautiful views. There is an additional table and chairs to the front of caravan.
A useful guide to the caravan and the area, along with easy to complete booking form, are all available on request from the owner.
Bed linen can be provided, but there is an additional fee of £7 per person.
Dogs are allowed, but an additional cleaning fee of £25 per dog will be required.

About the Area
Rosetta Holiday Park is a beautifully matured caravan and camp site on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Peebles, in the heart of the beautiful Scottish Borders.The park looks out over the stunning Venlaw Hills and is set across 50 acres in the grounds of a Georgian mansion and stable block, which houses a popular Hayloft Bar and Restaurant.
Rosetta Park is pet-friendly too, so you can bring your dogs to enjoy this wonderful part of Scotland.
The park is in a wonderful setting, within walking distance of the pretty town of Peebles, close to the River Tweed and within easy reach of Glentress Forest, which is one of the top visitor attractions in the Scottish Borders and a stunning location for leisurely walks, amazing mountain bike rides (there are 50 miles of green, blue, red and black trails) and horse riding and orienteering.
Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh – an amazing city with so much to see and do – is only 20 miles from the park and is easily reached by car or public transport. You can spend a day, or more, exploring the famous landmarks including, Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace and the historic sites along the Royal Mile, with time for Whiskey Tasting and creepy ghost tours.
Of course, there is much to marvel at across the Scottish Borders and Rosetta Park is the perfect base for days out in this unspoilt region, which includes craggy coastlines and hidden coves, tranquil forests, sweeping valleys and breathtaking hilltop views.
