Our caravan is a 2015, 3 bedroom, 36’ x 12' Swift Soleil, spaciously laid out on a gently sloping, well-tended grass field, with patio and access roads. It also has a sea view, and on a clear day you can see Portland!

The caravan is comfortably furnished and equipped and includes a colour TV, electric central heating and a fire.

The kitchen includes a 4 burner gas hob, large oven and separate grill, a microwave, toaster and fridge.

There is a spacious main bedroom, two twin bedrooms and a fold-out, comfortable sprung double guest bed in the lounge.

There is a shower room and a separate WC with wash hand basin.

UPVC double glazing and central heating mean you will be as snug as a bug in a rug!

The caravan is set on a peaceful plot with its own parking space alongside, and offers easy access to the holiday park facilities and beach.

We do allow pets; we take our Loony Lab down there so why shouldn't we allow you to do the same! But obviously, please ensure all the hairs and/or any mess is cleared up.

You are welcome to use any of the stuff in the shed, i.e. fishing rods, bats and balls, buoyancy aids, BBQ and kites etc. There is also an inflatable boat and oars in there for this year. All we would ask is that you please look after them as if they were your own so others can enjoy the use of them too! If you break something, we will not take you to task or send you a bill, but would prefer it if you let us know so we could replace if need be!

You are requested to give the lawn mower a weekly run out if the grass needs cutting!

This is quite an important aspect to a nice stress relieving holiday.

You may find an outboard in the shed, which is for the 3M inflatable under the caravan. This is NOT for common use, but if you would really like to use it please speak to Simon. The boat is locked up so you will need to speak to me to find out where the key is!

I normally leave some beers in the cupboard; please feel free to use, but replace before you leave.

We now have decking installed.

About the Area

Ladram Bay is located in East Devon, England. The caravan park is the second largest holiday centre in Devon and was started by F.W.S Carter in 1950. Sadly Mr Carter passed away in 2012. The site hosted the first digital TV transponder in the United Kingdom.

The Bay is situated on Otter Sandstone of Triassic age which is the same rock that forms the oil reservoir at the Wytch Farm oilfield near Poole. The sea stacks are composed of the same rock, which is relatively soft, but they have a harder band of sandstone at their base which prevents their rapid erosion by the sea. At the south-west end of the bay pale pipes can be seen in the sandstone: these represent the roots of plants that were able to survive in the harsh dry climate of the Triassic.

Ladram Bay Holiday Park is an award winning and family run holiday park that was voted as one of the UK’s top holiday parks in 2014.

It offers plenty to entertain the whole family and is very well maintained. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.

There is a private pebble beach to visit, whether to sit and muse, or to canoe, windsurf or swim.

Facilities on site include a large indoor heated swimming pool, splash park, an adventure playground, a football field, crazy golf, climbing wall. an arcade, and boat launch facilities along with hire of canoes, boats etc.

A complex, called The Three Rocks, houses Waves Bar, Pebbles Restaurant and Pirates Amusements, available to all residents.

Waves Bar is the place to head for the evening, where there is nightly entertainment including: live bands, magicians, a large big screen, and bingo. The Ladram Bay website lists the annual programme. The restaurant has themed food nights, or just order from the menu, with roasts dinner on Sundays.

The Seaview Shack is very close to the beach and serves baguettes, ice creams and soft drinks. You can also take your dog down to the Shack but not allowed on the beach.

Excellent fish and chip takeaway.

There is a very well stocked grocery shop, which caters for all needs, including shopping, tools, swimwear and daily newspapers, amongst many other items.

There is nightly, fantastic entertainment, large indoor heated swimming pools, a centrally located supermarket, take away and café, an adventure playground, crazy golf and a daily kids activity club (send the little darlings and put your feet up). There is also a launderette on site.
