Welcome to our delightful Cosalt Cascade our latest mobile home on the Riviera.

Our 29ft x 12ft mobile home, plus semi-covered decking area sits on a 120 square meter plot offering you approximately 53 square meters of living space followed by 35 square meters of useable gravelled garden area and the rest is made up of mature hedges and path all this is set on the delightful, 4* Parc St. James in a fabulous area approximately 5kms from St. Tropez.

Parc St. James covers 31 hectares, planted with century old cork oak trees and stone pines. It is just below the very pretty hilltop village of Gassin, which has spectacular views across the Golfe de St. Tropez.

Unlike many other sites, the mobile homes here are set amongst trees with their own emplacements.

Being just over 1 km from Gassin and Cogolin beaches, and close to many other beaches and attractions, you are spoilt for choice.

There is also a hypermarket just down the road that does sell everything.

Accommodation

Our attractive, Cosalt Cascade mobile home accommodates four to six people and includes a modern centre kitchen with full size gas cooker and fridge freezer. There are two double bedrooms, at either end of the home one with on suite with double bed and the other has two singles. There is also double bed accommodation available in the lounge/dining area if required. The bathroom has a shower cubicle, and wash basin. There are French electric sockets throughout so please take adaptors with you.

Outside the decking area you will find a table, chairs and sun umbrella for ‘al fresco’ eating for six people, as well as two sun loungers.

There is a full inventory in our mobile home but you will need to bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels. Alternatively you can hire the bed linen from the Campsite (if you require this facility, please email me for more information). Before June and after mid September you may also need duvet covers – 1 double, 2 singles. Duvets are provided

About the Area

Parc St. James boasts 3 swimming pools, a restaurant, bar, tennis courts, gymnasium, children’s play area, launderette, shop, telephone kiosks and lovely walks – all within the campsite (there is also a footpath to Gassin for the energetic).

On arrival, there are additional charges of 11 - 15 Euros per day, per family, depending on whether you arrive off or peak season plus 0.61 Euro for each person over 18 years old; this is payable to the campsite, plus a 20 Euros returnable deposit to receive your gate pass.

On Site

Sport - with daily tournaments.
At the pool - Aqua gym and water games, water polo supervised by the lifeguard during the tourist season.
On the tennis court - badminton, special events and friendly competitions.
For lovers of team sports - volleyball, basketball, football.
For others - petanque and table tennis.
A TV area to relax in for teenagers - an electronic games room.

At the Parc Saint James, children are kings. For them there is:

A play area with slide and swings.
The Mini-Club (open in July and August for under 12s).
The childminders organise activities adapted to their spirit of adventure and independence. Games, make-up competitions, crafts and sport - Pure happiness for kids... and peace of mind for their parents.

Yours Days

You can go shopping in the self-service store.
For lunch or dinner you have a choice - take away dishes, the fast food formula “Rapido” with a varied menu for snacks at anytime of the day. Every evening you can eat at the restaurant and whenever you want, enjoy a drink at the bar with family or friends.

Your Evenings

The entertainment staff prepares a different programme every day at the restaurant - thematic evenings, musical groups, shows. You can also boogie down at the disco which opens at 11pm

Walks and Outings

The village of Gassin, perched on its rocky promontory, offers an exceptional view over the Golfe de Saint Tropez and the Pays des Maures. Saint Tropez - A port blending authenticity and modernity with superb beaches, a coastal path which takes you to the tip of the peninsular. Ramatuelle - with the famous beach of Pampelone and the Camarat lighthouse. Grimaud - the stone village and Port Grimaud and its marinas The surrounding vineyards, in particular Château Barbeyolles, Domaine du Pin Pinon.

Museums

Saint Tropez: l’Annonciade has a vast collection of paintings dating from 1890 – 1950
Cogolin: Raimu Museum with a retrospective of the famous actor’s life.

Beaches

The nearest is at Port Cogolin, which is next to Les Marines de Cogolin, a yacht harbour with many harbour side restaurants. Between La Croix-Valmer and Cavalaire there are long stretches of beach with ample parking on the roadside. This stretch of the coast tends to be less busy that the other way towards St. Maxime. If you want to go over the hill through Ramatuelle, there are some lovely beaches around Pampelonne.

Towns & Villages

Gassin is the nearest village, being just above the campsite. It has been officially designated One of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, primarily for its spectacular views across the Golfe de St. Tropez. Nearby Ramatuelle is also worth a visit.

Grimaud you will have passed on your way in, but there is also Port Grimaud on the cost, known as "Little Venice" with is pastel-coloured houses and bridges over stretches of harbour that resemble canals.

If you like spectacle, then St. Tropez at night, particularly Saturday night, around the old harbour is an experience. Artists will paint your portrait by lamplight and millionaires dine on the afterdecks of their yachts while the crowds look on!
