Providing direct contact with the Holiday Home owner
This homely caravan was used solely for our own personal use up to the end of 2016 season. ,But we have decided to let for the 2017 /2018/2019 season so you can be assured that it is up to a good standard and has a few personal touches,everyone that rented it in 2018 throughly enjoyed their stay.
The caravan is a Willerby Lyndhurst 2000, one of the premier manufacturers of static caravans. It has 2 bedrooms and a pull-out bed in the lounge area.
It is sited on the Meadow View development at the rear of the Golden Palm site, which has seen recent site development and has benefited from some landscaped fishing ponds and associated wildlife (ducks plodding around the caravans frequently) also a local children’s fenced play area for use of caravan residents. This is in addition to all the Entertainment facilities offered by the Golden Palm Complex.
The kitchen is equipped with a full-size gas oven as good as any permanent home, with oven, separate grill and 4 rings, plus an integral storage plate cabinet. There’s also large built-in fridge freezer, microwave oven, toaster, electric kettle, full set of cutlery and crockery for 6 people, also a pull-out ironing board (bring your own iron) and plenty of cupboard space.
The large lounge/dining area has matching furniture comprising a circular table and 4 chairs, a circular coffee table and TV/DVD unit with integral turntable for variable angle and easy viewing of the large flat screen TV. Seating is an L shaped, upholstered sofa-style with integral pull-out double bed and scatter cushions, providing plenty of seating for all.
The caravan is connected to a satellite dish to enable Free sat programming and recording via a digital recording set top box (we replace this with our own Sky box when we are resident). There is also a Blu-ray DVD player.
The caravan benefits from full gas central heating to all rooms for out of season use.
The master bedroom is spacious and has a large king size bed with bedside cabinets and over bed storage and ample wardrobe storage space, also an en-suite toilet with wash hand basin and extractor fan.
The second bedroom has 2 single beds, 2 wardrobe units and a bedside unit between.
The third sleeping space is the double pull-out bed in the living room lounge area.
Within the main bathroom there is a ½ size bath cubicle with sliding door and integral shower, along with a toilet, wash hand basin, mirrored cabinet and extractor fan.
Access to the caravan is via steps with built-in led solar lights and hinged gate to a full-length veranda which leads to a large decked area at the front of the caravan with outside plastic table and 4 chairs.
Vehicular access to the caravan is through the site from the Tropicana club car park or nearer direct access gate at the back of the site off Skegness Road (off a 52) about 150m from the road. You can walk to the main Golden Palm resort area and Tropicana clubhouse through the site over a small footbridge 7/8 minutes.
All duvets and pillows are provided, but please bring your own sheets and slips for hygiene reasons. Please be advised the main bed is a king size.
You will also be required to provide your own towels and tea towels.
Electricity and normal gas usage is included in the price.
Passes are not included in the price. These can be purchased on site and are required for the on site pool and Tropicana Clubhouse, which has nightly entertainment, daily bingo and a secure internal monitored children’s playroom.
Bookings & Conditions
Weekly stays are normally Saturday to Saturday and short stays from Friday to Monday and Monday to Friday. There is more flexibility on dates and duration in off peak periods - please ask.
There is absolutely no smoking within the caravan.
No same sex groups of more than 2 people or under 18s allowed, this is not negotiable and failure to observe may result in ejection from the site without refund.
The booking reservation fee is a £50 non-returnable deposit. The balance of the holiday cost is due in full no later than 4 weeks before occupation.
A further £50 refundable bond is required at that time as security against major loss or damage, lost keys or failure to observe statuary site rules. The Bond is returnable after satisfactory, preliminary inspection by cleaning staff on the day of your departure.
Occupation of caravan is after 1pm on day of arrival and Vacation of the caravan is no later than 10am on day of departure.
