Our mobile home was built in Britain around 25 years ago and is located in a beautiful, private plot with its own, hedged garden on this delightful, family run site located on the borders of Dordogne and Lot &
Garonne.
With only 60 emplacements, almost all within their own, enclosed plots, this is chic caravanning and a different world to the UK.
Our mobile home has a double bedroom and second bedroom with two small beds, which is located away from the main bedroom.
There is a lovely, central kitchen/living room with French windows that open out onto the garden.
There is also a shower room with loo and wash basin.
We now have a substantial veranda which is great for sitting out on and admiring the garden with a glass of local wine and some fine French food!
Parking is available on the plot.
We welcome well behaved pets.
We bought our mobile home last year because we thought this was the best place in France we had ever seen to holiday!

About the Area
Camping de Bergougne is a small and friendly, family run site. Apart from the usual essential facilities, there is a lovely small bar and restaurant on site with a little shop and an excellent, heated swimming pool. There is also a library and lake for anglers.The whole site is fairly private and secluded. Nearby Villereal is a gem; a small bastide town, it is about one and a quarter miles away and a five minute drive or 20 minute walk through the fields and vineyards. Villereal has a beautiful square and a number of good cafes and restaurants.
On the borders of the Dordogne and Lot and Garonne (just into the latter) the surrounding countryside is simply wonderful and relaxing. The Dordogne has always been a favourite to visit, and Lot and Garonne is just that little bit warmer and different.
Bergerac is half an hour's easy drive and, importantly, the airport is this side of town and only a 25 minutes drive.
For those who want to travel a bit, the Pyrenees are a two to three hour drive, as is Toulouse and The Midi. Bordeaux is under two hours.
