About the Area

Sandhills Holiday Park is a quiet, family-orientated site situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. On site there is a shop with off-licence, launderette and children's play area.

The site is situated on the coastal footpath, making it an ideal base for walkers, and has direct access to the sheltered sandy beach of Whitecliff Bay. The beach is safe for paddling and bathing and at low tide a large sandy area provides the ideal spot for beach games or to explore the numerous exposed rock pools. There is an excellent beach cafe serving a selection of drinks, hot and cold snacks and beach equipment; in fact, everything you'll need for the perfect family day out.

Nearby is the sailing village of Bembridge with its busy harbour, and a good variety of individual shops, restaurants, takeaways and child-friendly pubs. The nearby family resort of Sandown offers a wide range of daytime and evening entertainment for everyone.

The Isle of Wight is a stunning Island with much to offer its visitors. For the energetic there are plenty of activities to enjoy, including kayaking, windsurfing, sailing and paragliding. A network of footpaths stretching over 500 miles will not disappoint keen walkers. And with over half of the Island designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty, the scenery is spectacular.

For the children there are an amazing number of attractions, including fun parks with thrilling rides, animal and bird sanctuaries, dinosaur museums and medieval castles. And for those looking to relax, the Island has many fine restaurants, art galleries, peaceful villages and historic houses.

Regular ferry services from Southampton, Portsmouth and Lymington, will get you across the Solent quickly and easily.
