The chalet is covid-19 free as far as we can manage and one clear week is allowed between bookings - therefore availability is limited.
Our two-bedroom chalet is in a good location on the park and overlooks a large grassed area. It has a sunny aspect, a patio area and seating to make the most of a leisurely time in the open air.
Last year due to the withdrawal of the original £1 coins we had to remove the slot meter - electricity is now included in the price you pay for the chalet. This has resulted in our prices having to be increased unfortunately but our chalets are still very competitively priced.
Our two- bedroomed chalet accommodation is as follows:-
One bedroom has a double bed and the other has two single beds. Both bedrooms have hanging space, drawer unit and bedside tables with bedside lamps. We have duvets and pillows on the beds but you will need to bring bed sheets (top and bottom sheets or duvet covers and bottom sheets) and pillowcases for each bed you intend to use, towels and tea towels
Within the chalet there is a leather suite, an LCD TV and CD unit, and a modern kitchen with microwave, fridge with freezer over, cooker etc.
There is a direct-feed shower over the bath and heaters in all rooms, should they be required, together with extra blankets etc.
Parking is plentiful and nearby to the chalet.
We have had several chalets on Sundowner Holiday Park for some years now as the park is very well maintained and has an excellent reputation in the area.
Dogs - if you wish to bring your dog please ring to discuss - we only accept small dogs which must not be left alone in the chalet under any circumstances due to previous damage. If agreed - the cost is £25 per week or part of the week.
Our chalet is freshly decorated, with comfortable furniture and is well equipped to ensure our holidaymakers have a relaxing and happy holiday with us.
Within walking distance of the site (actually, just over the road!) there are several clubs with regular entertainment, bingo etc, restaurants and fish and chip shop, with a couple of grocery shops for food and daily papers etc. The nearest swimming pool is at the Bermuda Club down the road but there are others in Hemsby itself or in the caravan park at Scratby - all of which allow non-resident swimmers.
The bus stops outside the gates of the park and there is a regular service to Great Yarmouth from May - September.
If you wish to book, we would require £50 deposit for each week within 7 days of booking and the balance to be paid four weeks before the holiday. Receipts will be sent for monies received.

About the Area
We have found Sundowner Holiday Park to be very friendly and relaxing.The site is flat and only 10 minutes walk from the sea. Hemsby is within walking distance either along the side roads or beach.
Local shops, clubhouses, fish and chips, restaurants, bingo and swimming pool are all 'over the road' from our site. They welcome Sundowner visitors, and the clubs have entertainment most evenings, depending on the time of the season.
There is a small charge for the local swimming pools.
In Hemsby there are lots of arcades, a fairground with rides for everyone, and a large pub with outside seating, entertainment and a carvery. During the summer holidays there is a lovely firework display every week - on Tuesday evenings last year but the day may change this year!
This is an ideal location for bird watching and walking holidays - everything is on your doorstep.
If you wish not to use your car, there is a bus stop right outside the main gate with a regular bus service, and also local coach companies provide a wide range of outings to various destinations.
Newport is an excellent spot for touring the area - Potter Heigham (factory shop and marina), Great Yarmouth, Wroxham being the 'capital' of the Broads, Caister (large Tesco store), and Cromer which has a lovely old-fashioned feel with a theatre at the end of the pier which hosts excellent shows. There is also a Mississippi paddle steamer at Horning which is a lovely experience (they also do a jazz evening on the steamer).
All in all, Norfolk has so much to offer - and with our chalet to return to at the end of the day, you are sure to have a superb time.
