Caravan Description
We have an ABI Sunrise, 2007 model, which comprises 2 twin bedrooms, 1 double bedroom, a spacious lounge area (with a further double pull-out bed), a kitchen and bathroom (with shower and toilet).
The kitchen has a full size gas cooker, fridge, microwave, electric toaster, kettle and iron.
The lounge dining area has plentiful seating, plus a TV, DVD and CD player and a range of DVDs and games that you can freely use.
The caravan is heated by a gas fire in the lounge and electric heaters in the bedrooms and bathroom.
Outside you will find a table and chairs.
The caravan is sited in a sought after position just yards from the beach and all the facilities, yet there is no disturbance either from the clubs or from others as the field is largely owner occupied, well cared for and in a no-through cul-de-sac.
Linen is not included, so please bring your sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers. Alternatively, linen can be hired from reception. I usually leave a collection of tea towels and emergency linen stored for emergencies.
Entertainment passes are not included in the price, but can also be purchased on arrival. You will need passes to access the majority of the leisure facilities on site.
Gas and electricity is included in the price.
Bookings
We require a £50 breakages/security deposit on confirmation of booking. If the holiday is cancelled this is non-returnable (dependant on how much notice is given). On completion of the holiday the deposit will be returned to you once the caravan has been checked, which is normally within a few days.
Full payment is required 6 weeks before your holiday date.
This is our family caravan and our wish is for like minded people to enjoy their time within it and respect it as if it were their own.

About the Area
Hopton Holiday Village is a Haven holiday park and as such boasts a large array of activities including: Indoor pool and splash area and sauna; Outdoor heated pool; Restaurant and bar with attractive large decked sun terrace; Crazy golf; Tennis, football and basketball courts; Archery; Organised activities for children; Showbar featuring bingo, children's disco and shows, and live entertainment and some celebrity acts (please see above regarding passes); Takeaway Chinese food and Fish & Chips/Burgers etc.The beach, which you can access from the holiday park, is divided into coves and stretches in both directions. The nearby town of Gorleston has a vast, unspoilt, golden sandy beach, amusements and places to eat.
Beyond the holiday park lies Great Yarmouth; a traditional seaside town with extensive sea front and many attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, pleasure beach, horse and carraige rides, amusements etc.
Norfolk is packed with tourist attractions; a recommend would be to visit Fritton Lakes or Thrigby Wildlife Centre which has alligators, wild cats, monkeys, otters and much more, with tree top walks that children love.
The Norfolk Broads is easily accessible; a lovely experience is to take a boat trip through picturesque riverside and moor up by one of the several pubs for some delicious food.
In the other direction is Lowestoft, where you can visit Africa Alive, or the very popular and quaint town of Soutwold; if you drive through to the quay you can get some lovely fish and chips.
