About the Area
Our caravan is situated on Beach Walk, number 37, which is close to all the amenities of Golden Sands Holiday Park.
There is so much to do at Golden Sands: there's a soft play area, kids playground, dodgems, smaller rides for the little ones, kids clubs ranging from tiny tots to those illusive teenagers, a big amusement arcade (time to use all those 2p's you have been saving) and crazy golf - go on let the kids win.
There is nightly entertainment in the Live Lounge and bingo upstairs in the Galleon, plus entertainment after the bingo.
For eating out on site there's The Quay Side restaurant where you can relax and be waited on hand and foot. There's also a Papa John's pizza, which can be delivered direct to your caravan, and a traditional Fish and Chip shop.
Off site, still keeping to the eateries, there is the Ferry Boat and the Dunes, both pubs and sell really good, reasonably priced food. Also, The Cauldron which is a cafe and they arent bad either. There are also lots of take aways, i.e. Indian, Chinese, and they will also deliver to the caravan.
Out & About
In Mablethorpe the Seal Sanctuary is a must; the kids will love it, especially when it's feeding time. Not too far away is Skegness if you want to explore a little more, and Cleethorpes isn't a million miles away either
