Caravan Description
Come and enjoy our pet-friendly comfortable caravan with its excellent aspect overlooking the ancient woodland crowning the cliffs above Thorness Bay.
It features a double bedroom with dressing table and plenty of wardrobe space, a twin room with extra pull-down bunk and storage space, and a pull-out double bed in the lounge area so that up to six people can sleep in comfort.
To keep you warm on chillier evenings there is a selection of electric panel heating, additional electric oil heaters and fully certificated gas fires.
The separate kitchen area is equipped with all the appliances for a family to cook and dine including an oven with gas cooking hobs, a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, kitchen knives and crockery, cutlery and glassware as well as storage cupboards.
The linoleum floored bathroom has room for a perspex-doored shower unit as well as a wash basin and flush toilet and hangers for towels.
The spacious lounge area is light and comfortable. It is provided with a gas fire and TV with Freeview as well as board games and information of local interest for indoor entertainment and planning your next day’s holiday outing!
Bed linen will be provided but please bring your own towels.
A non-refundable deposit equivalent to 20% of the total holiday cost must be paid by cheque at time of booking. For short notice bookings a cheque for the full amount will be required. In addition a cheque for £75 must be sent at time of booking and will be refunded in full within 14 days subject to inspection for breakages or damage.
Dogs are allowed as long as fully house-trained.
Smoking is not permitted in the caravan.

Entertainment passes are not included in the price of the let but these can be obtained from park reception on arrival. A weekly pass for a family is £52 in peak holiday periods and £38 at other times. Passes for 3-4 nights are respectively £34 and £25.
Location
Thorness Bay is ideally suited for walkers and cyclists alike as it is on the coastal path and with the Round-the-Island Cycle Route passing by the entrance to the park.
You are within a few minutes drive on quiet roads of the towns of Cowes, Newport or Yarmouth. From these locations you can experience the delights of Cowes harbour, Carisbrooke Castle, Needles Park at Alum Bay, Godshill Model Village, Amazon World, Yarmouth Castle, Robin Hill Countryside Adventure Park, Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Osbourne House, Shalfleet Manor Estuary Safaris and much, much more.
If you fancy a change from eating on site then The Sportsman Pub at Porchfield or The Travellers’ Joy at Northwood offer excellent food and drink in the local vicinity.
