We had for the 2017 season, a brand new, stunning 2 bedroom 'Carnaby Helmsley Lodge' - a contemporary caravan with double glazing and central heating.
Ideally suited for couples or small families, our caravan is situated on White Acres Country Park; an award winning complex set within the beautiful Cornish countryside just a few miles from the centre of Newquay and the north Cornish coast.
It is sited on plot number 222 in a small, quiet cul-de-sac with 2 other owner caravans, with private parking and lovely views over the valley.
The caravan has 2 bedrooms and a pull-out sofa bed in the lounge, accommodating up to 6 guests. The master bedroom has a king size bed with an en-suite toilet and wash hand basin, plus plenty of storage space, a TV and hair dryer. The second bedroom has 2 single beds with ample storage space. A travel cot is also available.
The family bathroom has a large shower, toilet and wash hand basin, plus storage.
The lounge has a freestanding sofa and 2 armchairs, a coffee table, 32" flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD player/radio, media hub, twin USB charging sockets and an electric fire. Off the lounge there are French doors that open onto a 13’ x 6’ deck area.
The kitchen has ample work surfaces and a built-in microwave, along with a fridge freezer and dishwasher. The cooker is a domestic quality gas oven and grill with a four burner hob. A kettle, toaster and all cooking utensils and crockery are provided, together with an iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner.
Along the side of the caravan is a large 22’ x 8’ decking area with table and chairs, plus a metal lockable box for fishing tackle storage during your stay.
Prices quoted include free gas, electricity, bed linen and towels for use in the caravan, (we do not supply towels for the pool or beach).
Bookings
A £100 deposit is required at the time of booking with the remainder to be paid no later than 6 weeks prior to occupancy. If a booking is made less than 6 weeks prior to occupancy payment is required in full.

About the Area
White Acres Country Park is a lovely, award winning site with 13 fishing lakes, clubhouse with adult and children's entertainment every night, lounge bar area, restaurant, 1st bite café, catch of the day fish & chip shop, Costa Coffee, indoor swimming pool with tots pool, gym, sauna, Jacuzzi, beauty salon, laundrette, sports themed pool room with pool table, air hockey, darts and bowling, amusement arcade and crazy golf.For the younger children there are numerous outdoor play areas, an indoor soft play area (4-10 years) and various children's clubs covering Under 4s, 4-10, 10-15 (all children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

In addition to being suitable for families of all ages, White Acres Country Park is also a well known centre for fishing. On site there are 2 specimen lakes, holding carp up to 30lb and catfish in excess of 50lb, and 11 general lakes holding carp, tench, bream, roach, barbel and perch.
There is a well stocked fishing lodge where tackle, bait and permits can be obtained on your arrival, residents matches, catering for all abilities, are run weekly, fishing tuition is also available. There are also several lakes off site within a short drive including the renowned Bolingley lake where catches regularly exceed 200lbs.
Please note you must also be in possession of a environment agency rod licence prior to fishing. In all cases you must abide by the site fishing rules especially bait allowances, these can be obtained from the fishing lodge.
White Acres is ideally situated for visiting most of Cornwall's attractions and beaches. The Eden project, a must if you are visiting Cornwall, is only 30 minutes away and there are numerous local attractions in and around Newquay. Brochures are freely available form reception or the laundrette.
