Welcome to our superb 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom mobile home on the beautiful and mature Camping Le Dattier in Frejus, which is between St. Tropez and Cannes in the South of France.

It's a wonderful location from which to visit all the fabulous places on the Cote d’Azur.

We are situated in a quiet cul-de-sac near the top of the site which is convenient for access to the two wonderful pools and the restaurant.

The accommodation has two double bedrooms, one at each end of the mobile home. The second bedroom, which has its own en-suite, can be a double or 2 singles. Both bedrooms have wardrobes, good storage space and a fan. Within the main bedroom you will also find a hairdryer. There is a pull-out bed in the lounge too.

The bathroom has a large shower cubicle, toilet and sink.

The main living area is centrally located and has a dining area. It has a flat screen TV with Sky channels, DVD player, a radio with an iPod docking station and wall-mounted air conditioning. We also provide DVDs, CDs, books and games for you to enjoy.

We have a fully equipped kitchen, complete with fridge freezer, full gas cooker, kettle, microwave, toaster, sandwich maker, hand blender/mixer, water filter and all cooking utensils. There is an iron and ironing board available too.

Double and single doors lead out to our large, enclosed decking area with a fantastic gazebo, with sideboard, cooking facilities, gas BBQ, lighting etc. all set up for outside dining – basically another room. The large gazebo has a solid roof, is waterproof and in the event of rain can be enclosed with zipped curtains. We also provide comfortable chairs for relaxing and sun loungers for sunbathing, along with an outside fridge to keep those drinks cool. There are amazing views of the Esterel mountains whilst you relax (also from the windows whilst you are washing up). There is a washing machine, rotary dryer and a space for parking your car.

We provide pillows with protectors, mattress protectors, blankets and duvets but clients have to provide their own sheets, pillowcases and towels. We would also recommend a flat top sheet, as sometimes this is all you need.

Please note there is a tourist tax of 0.61 Euros per day per person over the age of 18. The site also charge a 25 Euro administration fee for all renters. This is payable at reception and is not included in our prices.

All services, gas, electric & water are included.

Location

Le Dattier is a small, family run site which boasts two fantastic swimming pools plus a children's pool. There is a restaurant (with takeaway service), a bar and games room, free family entertainment in high season, tennis courts, boules pitch and children play area. It also boasts its own donkey.

We chose this site as it is so picturesque, quiet and the plots are separated by trees and shrubs making your plot private.

There is a bus stop located near the site and there is a regular bus service in the high season (July & August).
Wi-fi is also available on site at a daily/weekly charge.

Opposite the site there is a Pizza takeaway. A chemist and other shops are a 5 minute walk away. There are major supermarkets within a 5 minute drive.

Out & About

The site is about 40 minutes from Nice airport. Details of transport can be provided upon request.

Le Dattier is ideally situated to visit all the fantastic places like St Tropez, Cannes, Antibes, St Paul de Vence, Port Grimauld, Grasse and many more. The Gorges de Verdun is an hour away. The town of Frejus is amazing. It has an 'old town' - market days Wed. & Sat. mornings but lovely just to visit for a coffee anytime, restaurants around the old square - bliss. There are many Roman sites in the area, including an amphitheatre, to visit. Large market on a Sunday morning on Frejus/St. Raphael front.

Visit Frejus Port with its marina, bars and restaurants. The peaceful Base Nature - ideal for strolling. The beach which starts by Frejus Port stretches all the way to St Raphael which has a nightly market in July and August, many restaurants and ice cream parlours. There are fantastic fireworks set off, out at sea, on certain evenings in July and August, usually around 10.30pm and the best place to view is them is on the beach. Many take picnics, chairs, play games - it’s magical. St. Raphael also boasts a casino.

There is Aqualand/Luna Park nearby plus a go-cart track and Marineland in Antibes. Details can be obtained at reception. There is also an information pack in the mobile home with details of local markets, beaches, places to visit, books on the region and maps.
