Caravan Description
Our mobile home is a spacious Cosalt 35x12 with 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 8 people, including air-conditioning, a new large covered enclosed decking area with BBQ and patio.
The accommodation is very comfortable and comprises of 3 bedrooms, large lounge area, separate shower and WC, fully fitted kitchen and dining area.
The main bedroom has a double bed and large wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. The second bedroom has twin beds that can easily be pushed together to make a double and the third bedroom has a bunk bed. There is also another double pull-out bed in the living room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with full size fridge freezer, microwave, cooker, grill and plenty of utensils and cleaning products you can use.
In the lounge there is flat screen satellite TV, DVD player and a selection of DVDs, games and books.
Outside we are a secluded site, surrounded by hedges for privacy. There is a new large covered enclosed decking area, perfect for outside dining and relaxing. We also have a patio area for sunbathing on the sun loungers.

About the Area
The site itself is the excellent 4 star Siblu flagship site Les Charmettes, which boasts a fantastic pool complex, complete with indoor pool, 2 outdoor pools, water chute, 4 lane water slide, baby pool and water playstation.Other amenities on park include table tennis, boules, the fitness trail and (at a charge) tennis, mini golf, archery, pool tables and cycle hire. There is a well stocked shop, bars, restaurant, pizzeria and takeaway on site with many more restaurants nearby in La Palmyre, Arvert and La Tremblade.
Local Places of Interest
There are three main beaches near to the site; La Palmyre is a family friendly beach with calm water and sandy beaches. Further along is Saint Palais-sur-Mer which boasts miles of sandy beaches, great for sand castles and boogy boarding, and in the other direction you have The Cote Sauvage, a paradise for surfers - beware of very strong currents!!!!
The zoo at La Palmyre is an award winner and a fantastic day out for all the family no matter what their age.
Royan is about a twenty minute drive and has an impressive marina, constructed in 1965. Enlarged in 1983 it has recently encroached on the beach and has been enlarged again. Espace Nautique, situated in the yachting marina offers numerous activities for children, young people and adults. You can take a boat trip from Royan during the day or evening, or if it takes your fancy, boat hire is available too.
Luna Park is just minutes from the site. It's only open in July and August from 8pm until midnight, but is all the fun of the fair. A little further down the road you can find the Indian Adventure - tree climbing with a difference and suitable for children aged about 5-6 years (depending on height) to adults, but they do have a bouncy castle area for younger brothers and sisters.
