Caravan Description
Our holiday caravan is situated in the beautiful quiet wooded valley of the Iron Mill Stream.It is situated in its own private gated paddock, bordered one side by the stream and the other by woodland. It is very quiet and we are often visited by deer, badgers, foxes, pheasants and many species of birds. We have binoculars and bird books for your use.
Please note we are in the bottom of the valley and the road is single track.
Although our caravan is older its fully equiped and comfortable for your holiday.
It comprises of one double bedroom and one twin bedroom with a drop down bunk for under 8's. All bedding and linen is provided.
It has a fitted bathroom with shower unit, flushable toilet and wash basin.
The kitchen area has a full size gas cooker, refigerator with small freezer compartment, microwave, toaster etc. and all crockery and utensils.
The lounge/dining area has an electric fire, television with DVD. There is a small ironing board and iron. We also provide a selection of books, bird books, games, puzzles and dvds for your use.
Outside there is a decked area with table and chairs. A BBQ is also provided for your use but you will need to bring your own charcoal.
All bedding, linen and tea towels are provided. You will need to provide your own personal towels.
Prices include all gas and electric.
Short breaks and fexible arrivals days are also available.
Well behaved dogs are allowed at an extra £20.00

About the Area
The caravan is situated just a mile from Oakford village which has the Red Lion Public House a small village pub that does excellent food. Tiverton, a small market town, is about 8 miles away and has a canal with horse drawn barges and tea shops, a castle, leisure complex with swimming pool, gym and tennis courts, Golf Course and small museum. The M5 motorway is 20 mins away providing easy links to Taunton, Exeter and South Coasts. Bampton a pretty market town is 5 miles away and provides many convenient shops, pubs and restaurants.We are very central for visiting Exmoor or Dartmoor for wonderful walking and exploring. Wimbleball Lake is about half an hour away for watersports. We are also ideally situated for exploring the North and South Coasts which have some outstanding beaches and walks.
Local fishing and horseriding is also available nearby.
