The twin room has moveable single beds and can be made into a double. Again ample storage throughout and a double wardrobe with plenty of hangers.

The outside has a separate patio area with table and chairs for dining by the barbeque and another set for dining on the decking. The fabulous chimnea barbecue has always been the centre of many a great party and comes supplied with all the necessary utensils. Outside lighting ensures you can carry on entertaining after dusk.

As this is one of the largest and most private emplacements on the site you have the choice of sun or shade all day long in a most peaceful and relaxing setting.

Camping du Quinquis

This 3* English owned campsite is just 2kms away from 3 superb sandy beaches and set within 20 acres of tranquil, attractive, wooded parkland.

The leisure amenities are centred around the large bar area - a hub of entertainment in the high season and a relaxing place to drink and chat out of season. It is encompassed by the a small baby pool and a large heated 'swimming' pool as well as a very large leisure pool with a further baby pool and a jacuzzi. Here too, you can find the tennis court (small charge payable on booking), slam dunk basketball court, full sized football pitch (where many a match is played), volleyball, table tennis tables, children’s play area, pool table and a boules court.

Other facilities on site include a laundry, games room, reception/shop with daily postal service, reservation services/bike hire and bread runs. A great children’s club is run in high season with daily themed activities, run by qualified staff. Babysitting is an optional extra by the kid’s club staff.

I cannot stress what a wonderful, safe and freedom giving environment this site is for children making it the ideal, relaxed break for parents.

A takeaway service run by a Michelin star chef produces some fabulous local and well-known dishes for you to take back to your mobile and enjoy. Special requests are always catered for.

Local Area

The resort of Pouldu offers horse riding in the woodlands, along the coastline and on the beach, canoeing, wind-surfing, surfing, idylic fishing ports and the most fabulous walks and cycle rides amongst this breathtaking scenery.

Next to the site can be found a small animal petting farm with all manner of animals to see, touch and feed. Carp fishing here is available on request. All can be booked through reception. This area is renowned for its beauty by so many artists who have visited here through the ages. The site is ideally situated for daily local markets, wonderful festivals, Vide Greniers (car boots to you and me!) and for the exploration of the ancient towns of Southern Brittany - Concarneau, Carnac, Pont-Aven, Quimper, Vannes and Auray.

Beware, once you have visited Quinquis you may well be smitten and just have to come again! The friendly ambiance of many a mobile home owner, 2nd time holiday makers and especially the staff, will guarantee you a holiday never to forget.
