Caravan Description

Our coastal, three bedroom static caravan sleeps 8 people, we have everything you would need to have an amazing holiday creating wonderful family memories. It is situated at California Cliffs between Scratby & Hemsby, it is also near Horsey Gap where you can go seal spotting. This Parkdean Resort is near Great Yarmouth, so close to all the seaside towns.

In the lounge there is a fitted L shaped seating area with stools and side tables, under the seating is a double pull-out bed. Also, within the lounge is a smart 42” TV with a firestick and HDMI ports for other devices, DVD player with some DVDs, Bluetooth speaker, two mirrors, electric sockets, electric fire with all the heat settings you would need to keep warm and a fire alarm. If you have infants, please ensure that there are no leakages on the seating area.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you may need, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, slow cooker, gas cooker, cutlery, plates, pots, pans, BBQ equipment and cleaning products. In the kitchen drawer there is a folder with everything you need to know about the caravan and how to use everything.

We have our own 5G unlimited Wi-Fi for up to 10 devices, the Wi-Fi code is in the information folder provided, this is all included within the price of the holiday.

In the hallway is electric sockets, fire and carbon monoxide detectors.

There are three bedrooms, one double and two twin bedrooms, every bedroom has ample storage, mirrors, electric sockets, USB ports and electric panel heaters. One twin bedroom has two single beds that can be pushed together to make another double, if needed, the second twin bedroom has a bunk bed with a ladder and a single bed. In the double bedroom is a 22” TV with a firestick. We have mattress protectors on every bed.

We do NOT provide bed linen, towels or tea towels. You need to provide your own duvets, duvet covers, sheets, pillows, pillow cases and tea towels.

We also provide a travel cot, iron, iron board, coat hangers and a clothes airer.

The bathroom has a toilet, toilet roll, sink, shower and storage.

We supply oil filled radiators for the winter months.

Outside we have seating, a table, a BBQ and parking for up to two cars, but when it’s raining you will need to move your car away from the caravan as it’s grass and may become waterlogged.

If you get stuck with anything, we are only at the other end of the phone and would gladly help to make your stay perfect.

Bookings & Conditions

You cannot charge your electric vehicle from the caravan as it is only 14 amps and would result in tripping the electric and you would then need to go to reception where you will then be charged. It will also result in you losing your bond.

We ask for a non-refundable deposit of £50.

We also require a bond of £80 which will be returned to you with 3 days of departure, as long as everything is left in a clean and tidy condition and there is no damage. The caravan will be checked and made perfect for the next holiday makers.

The remainder if your holiday fees (minus the deposit) need to be paid within a minimum of 3 weeks before the start of your holiday.

All payments must be paid via bank transfer. Sorry no card payments.

All electric, gas and water are included in the cost of your holiday, with no outlay. We may charge a small supplement during the Autumn and Winter months to cover the heating costs.

Check in is at 4pm and departure is at 10am.

The breaks we offer are as follows:

Saturday to Saturday (7 nights)
Monday to Friday (4 nights)
Friday to Monday (3 nights)

We do NOT include park passes in our prices; you can get them from reception upon arrival. As private renters you would just need to state the number of the caravan and how many passes you need and they will provide you with them. If you don’t intend on using all of the park facilities then you don’t have to purchase passes.



Location

We are situated on a quieter part of the park, but still close to all the amenities and just a 5 minutes’ walk to the amazing beach, which is wheelchair, pushchair and pet friendly.

The tide doesn’t go out far, so there is never a long walk to the sea. The beach is always clean with soft sand, there is a coastal walk alongside the beach and a slope down to the beach. From the park there are three ways of accessing the beach, two of the gates are a 3 minute walk from our caravan and the third is the main gate. There is an ice cream van that is always around on and off the beach.

California Cliffs beach is truly an amazing sight which is once seen and never forgotten. You can see the seals swimming passed throughout the day from Horsey Gap.

There are lots of activities to keep you and the family entertained, indoor and outdoor pools with water slides, kids’ pool, arcade, large club room, restaurant, karaoke in the other bar, pool tables, enclosed basketball, football with astro turf, electric cars, crazy golf, holiday park bike hire, children’s park with lots of equipment and a little take-away hut, laundrette, small supermarket, fish & chip shop, Chinese take-away, Pink Palace arcade with bingo, ice-cream parlour and much, much more.

In the large club room, there is an array of kids’ entertainment and grown-up entertainment every night with the park characters appearing most nights, discos, lots of party games, competitions, bingo & all park bingo.

Entertainment passes vary in price every year, so just ask at reception or give them a call before you go.

There is a bus and an open top bus every 15 minutes that takes you to Great Yarmouth and many seaside places you want to go.

Just out of sight and a short walk away is the tavern pub with food, live bands and outdoor seating on offer, two beach shops, bakers with fresh cakes and bread, fish & chip shop, wine bar, restaurant and Scratby supermarket. You can also do an online shop and have it delivered to the caravan from all major supermarkets.

Nearby places to visit are Hemsby, Caister-on-Sea, Horsey Gap where the seals are, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Gorleston, Merrivale Model Village Yarmouth, Hippodrome Circus which is amazing day or night, Norfolk Broads where you can rent a boat for the day, Joyland, Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park, Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, Pleasure Beach Theme Park, Caister Castle, Marina Leisure Centre, Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf, Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, cinemas, lots of shops, retail parks, shopping centre in Yarmouth and Hopton-on-Sea. Everything is just a short drive or bus ride away.
