We have a newly furnished static caravan that sleeps up to 6 people on a quiet part of Towervans Holiday Park in Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire.

Three steps up to the front door leads you into the entrance hall with the shoe and coat area, as well as the gas boiler cupboard with the iron and ironing board.

Straight ahead of the entrance, we have a small twin bedroom with a small wardrobe. This room is decorated with a grey tone, small character dog curtains and grey tone bedding.

On the right is the double bedroom with an orthopaedic mattress, two cupboards, bookcase style cupboard, two bedside tables and a dressing table with a mirror. This room benefits from having an en-suite toilet and wash basin. The colour scheme is sage green with cream curtains, bedding and bathroom accessories.

We provide you with linen and towels for caravan use: beach towels need to be brought with you.

Diagonally opposite the double bedroom is the main bathroom. This consists of a toilet, wash basin and shower cubical. The grey theme continues in this bathroom and on the ceiling is a smoke alarm.

Following the hall to the left going through a door you are in the kitchen, his is fully equipped with an under counter fridge, toaster, coffee/drinks maker, slow cooker, an easy to use microwave, gas oven, hob, and grill, next to this is tea and coffee tray with the tea & coffee pots and the kettle. The cupboards have dinner plates, mugs and all other crockery that’s needed, there is a spare cupboard for groceries. Under the sink and draining board is an under cupboard which holds a variety of cleaning equipment etc. The next cupboard holds the hoover and above here is an extensive cutlery and utensils drawer. On the countertop is a range of cookware, pans, and oven dishes. Not everyone wants to go out to eat all the time and the fully functioning kitchen allows you to have staying in luxury, including pizza making or baking. The colour scheme for this room is beech coloured cupboards and a black worktop. To put your mind at rest there is a fire extinguisher, fire mat and small first aid kit on the wall by the door in the living room is a carbon monoxide detector.

Continuing forward is the dining room and lounge space. The dining room has a corner seating, a chair, table, and seats up to six people.

The lounge has a lovely bay window, a corner sofa, cushions, usable curtains in various tones of apricot, cream, beige, terracotta and grey. In the middle section of the sofa is the hidden double bed (the bedding for this in the large wardrobe), gas fire on the right, a central mat and coffee table for drinks, a TV and a large selection of DVDs are in the cupboards. We also leave an electric heater for those that prefer electric heaters.


*At present we do not have Wi-Fi, so mobile data would be needed. There are local places that provide free Wi-Fi.*


The door in the living room leads you on to the colour matching veranda, which will have ratan furniture for you to use and solar lights.

There is a small car parking space in front of the van and extra parking on the side road.

We are a non-smoking caravan and plot.
We do NOT allow pets due to owner’s allergies.

Location
At Towervans Holiday Park is a fishing lake with seating: permits are to be from the office.

There is a pub on site called The Tavern which serves food and drinks. It has various entertainment through the season.

There is a small children's playground on site by the Tavern.

Going left out of the entrance following the road you will meet the beach. Left side of the beach is not dog friendly, the right side of the beach is dog friendly.

Queens Park is on your left either from the coastal path or the road. A lovely walk around the lake with swans, geese and ducks.

The Wild Goose smokehouse bar & grill and a fish and chip shop are on left too, they are a 10 minutes’ walk away.

A 20 minute walk into Mablethorpe from the road or from the coastal path leads you to the beautiful, award winning beach with various entertainment and food places scattered around.

The high street and side streets have a variety of shops and eating places depending on your tastes, the amusement arcades are here too.

Locally there are lots of things to do, including:

Walking: Coastal path takes you to Sutton on Sea, which is approx. 6.5 miles taking around 1 hour, Sandilands Pit Nature Reserve, Donna Nook Nature Reserve, where the odd seal maybe seen and Woodhall Spa Golf Club.

Animal Lovers: Seal Sanctuary, Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary, Llama Walking and Goat Sanctuary. Claythorpe Watermill and Northcote Heavy Horse Centre.

Fishing: Towervans Holiday Park and The Woodlands Fishery.

Gardeners: Secret Garden of Louth, Wood Thorpe Garden Centre, Louth Garden Centre and a few independent garden centres on the way to Alford and Rushmoor Country Park Louth.

Historic Interest: Market Town of Alford Manor House & Windmill (currently under restoration), historic Louth, The Cottage Museum, Gunby Hall Spilsby, Monksthorpe Chapel, Bolingbroke Castle, Thorpe Camp Visitor Centre, Tattershall Castle, Tower on the Moor and The Battle of Britain & Dambusters Memorial.

Cinema: Mablethorpe has a cute cinema - the Loewan Cinema.

Golf: The Woodhall Spa Golf Centre.

Eating: Farmer Brown’s Ice Cream Parlour and Wren Farm Waffles & Desserts.



Local Attractions: Horncastle, Alford, Lincolnshire Aviation Historic Centre, Wolds Wildlife Park, Treetop Hideaways, Natureland Seal Sanctuary and Fantasy Island Theme Park.
