Caravan Description

Our pet friendly caravan on Lower Hyde Holiday Park is double glazed throughout and has central heating, with radiators in every room. It also benefits from an alarm system and key safe.

Within the lounge is a double sofa bed, Freeview TV, DVD player with DVDs, a selection of board games, and electric fire, fan and a hoover. Some information leaflets for local amenities can also be found in the lounge, along with a folder with manuals for the electricals within the caravan, and a Guest Book. We'd love to hear your feedback.

We have a fully equipped kitchen, with a dining area alongside. From the kitchen window you will be able to see the ‘secret garden’. We have outside seating for you to enjoy this area and also have a bird feeder. Should you wish to feed the wildlife there is a selection of food in the shed. We kindly ask that you replenish anything that you use. The shed is located in the garden area, where you will also find a washing line and pegs. Within the shed you will find some outdoor games and two garden recliner chairs, all of which you may use during your stay.

The caravan has two bedrooms. The master bedroom offers a large double wardrobe with drawers under, overhead storage, a vanity unit, Freeview TV, DVD player, 2 bedside lamps and an en-suite with toilet (fitted with a family toilet seat) and basin. There is also a fan in the overhead storage for those warmer evenings, along with hot water bottles for the chillier ones. The twin bedroom had two single beds, a bedside table, lamp, single wardrobe and overhead storage. There is also one detachable bed guard, plus a portable fan in the wardrobe. A toddler bed and bed guard can be found under the bed - the pump for the toddler bed is in the overhead storage.

The main bathroom has a shower cubicle, wash basin and toilet (fitted with a family toilet seat).

Beds will be made prior to your arrival.

For your convenience, we supply tea, coffee, sugar, salt/pepper, ketchup, brown sauce, mayonnaise, vinegar, washing up liquid, bin bags, dishcloths and toilet rolls.

Towels are NOT included.

Passes for the club house and facilities are NOT included. However, these can be purchased from the main Reception.

An Information Leaflet will be available within the van detailing where you can find extra bedding, hairdryer etc.




Location

Lower Hyde Holiday Park on the beautiful Isle of Wight, is situated opposite Shanklin train station, with links to Ryde Pier Head. It’s also on a bus route covering most of the Island.

On site facilities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, but there is the added benefit to use Lower Hyde’s sister site next door (Landguard), on site you will find a launderette, shop, arcade, restaurant, sports courts, play area, bike hire (extra cost), nightly entertainment and daytime activities (costs may incur).

The beach is a 15 minute walk from park.

A Lidl supermarket can be found at entrance of the park and Aldi supermarket is within walking distance. Iceland, Tesco and Sainsbury’s all offer home delivery to the park.
