Welcome to our fabulous family-owned private hire holiday caravan on John Fowler’s South Bay Holiday Park in Brixham, Devon.
Our fully double glazed and gas central heated caravan at South Bay Holiday Park, is in a good location on the site, situated on D field on a quiet end plot. It’s far enough away from the clubhouse so as not to hear the noise, yet just a short walk from all site amenities.
Parking is directly in front of the caravan.
The caravan sleeps up to six in two bedrooms, the master king size bed is situated in a spacious bedroom with dressing table and ample wardrobe space, also benefitting from an en-suite toilet. There is room for a travel cot in the master bedroom (not provided). Plus, the caravan benefits from a twin room and a double sofa bed in the lounge.
All bed linen is included, beds will be made up prior to your arrival.
There is a shower room with a double sized thermostatically controlled shower, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail.
The caravan benefits from floor to ceiling windows, allowing plenty of light in and offers full home from home comforts, such as:

*Coffee pot for lovely fresh brewed coffee in the mornings.
The lounge and dining area is very spacious, with a large 4 seater and 2 seater fitted sofa, giving ample space for all the family to kick back and relax. The large sofa has a double pull out sofa bed.
The dining area door opens out on to a fully equipped deck with patio table, chairs and an umbrella for those alfresco dining days or a cool glass of wine or beer when the sun is shining. There is a small, grassed area to the right of the decking.
The caravan is equipped with everything you will need for a very comfortable stay, all equipment is new for the 2024 season.
Bookings & Conditions
A £100 non-refundable deposit secures your date.
The balance must be paid 6 weeks prior to your arrival date.
If your booking is less than 6 weeks away, the total amount will become payable upon booking.
Payment is via bank transfer.
Location
Our holiday caravan on John Fowler’s South Bay, is located on a quiet end plot in D Field (Dartmoor field), a few minutes’ walk to reception, the clubhouse, restaurant and take away. The indoor and outdoor pool with children's flume and crazy golf is adjacent to the clubhouse, laundry and shop. There are also a couple of children’s play areas throughout the site.
There is a full itinerary of nightly children’s and adults’ entertainment including Bingo, along with a games room and mini arcade in the clubhouse. There is also the “Foxy” Club for children with activities.
**Entertainment passes can be purchased at reception - £19 for short stays and £32 for the week per caravan, payable to John Fowler Holidays**
The South Devon coast path is a couple of hundred metres beyond the Foxdown field and is a lovely area for walkers, hikers, and ramblers. With access to the stunning St Mary’s Bay beach (over 100+ steps). A lovely bay with an unspoilt sand and pebble beach and is a good swimming spot, with occasional sightings of seals and dolphins. Other local beaches are close by and have all the facilities you would expect from a British seaside holiday.
Brixham town and harbour are a 5 min drive away or approximately a 15min walk, there is a regular bus service that runs from reception to town, with onward connections to various destinations such as Paignton, Torquay, and Teignmouth. There are good road links to further afield such as Plymouth, the Eden Project and Cornwall all within easy reach.
Brixham town is a historical fishing port with a daily local fish market and some great independent shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs, and cocktail bars and don’t forget ‘crabbing’ for the children from the Quay. The harbour runs a local ferry service subject to weather conditions, to Torquay, Paignton, and Dartmouth. Along with rib rides and jet skiing also being available.
There is a local taxi firm with special rates from the park into Brixham town.
