Caravan Description

Towan Number 5 is our privately owned, 3 bedroom, 6 berth caravan to let on Trevella Holiday Park in Newquay, Cornwall.

We welcome families and couples in our caravan to let on Trevella Holiday Park, which is fully equipped for 6 guests.

Three steps lead up from the hardcore parking area into the caravan.

The light lounge area is carpeted and has bench seating, an electric fire, a SMART TV and its own private internet. Double doors lead out onto an enclosed, raised balcony, with views over the green and children's play area. It also has a wooden picnic bench and as the caravan faces due east, you can take full advantage of the morning sunshine.

The kitchen is well equipped and includes a gas oven, four gas ring hob, large family size fridge/ freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and assorted serving dishes too! Childproof beakers, bowls and plates are also provided.

The sleeping accommodation consists of a double bedroom with wardrobes, cupboard space and en-suite toilet with wash basin, and two twin bedrooms, each with two single beds, a bedside table and small wardrobes with 'hanging' shelves. All bedroom curtains have blackout lining.
During the coolest months we offer warmer quilts on beds: ensuring comfort all year round. Towan 5 has central heating.

The main shower room has a large shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin.

We have also provided a small vacuum cleaner, broom, dustpan and brush, and a mop.

Bed linen and towels are provided. However, we ask guests to provide their own beach towels.

For families with young children, please enquire about our travel cot, high chair, booster seat etc.

One or two well-behaved dogs are welcome. However, there will be an additional cleaning charge. We ask guests to provide their own dog bed/ blanket/ towel etc. Also, dogs MUST NOT be left unattended in the caravan at any time.

Please note that dogs are NOT allowed on all beaches during the summer season. However, they may go on Crantock and Porth Joke.

There is a windbreak and mallet available for your use. A selection of walking books, maps and information leaflets mean you are never short of things to do! A small selection of novels offer a quiet alternative to being out and about!



Bookings & Conditions

Contact us if you’re interested in a mid or low season short break: 4 nights minimum.

We will offer a discount for two consecutive weeks booked.

To secure your chosen dates, we will require £100 non-refundable deposit and ask that the remaining balance is paid 6 weeks prior to your holiday.



Location

The 5* Trevella Holiday Park in Crantock, near Newquay in Cornwall, has many on site facilities available, including:

. Outdoor heated swimming pool (seasonal and with its own lifeguards)
. Small site shop (seasonal)
. Crazy golf (chargeable)
. Fishing lakes (free rod license from the office required)
. Dog walking area
. Children's playgrounds

Also on site is an electric car charging point near reception.

In previous years, Trevella Holiday Park has hosted a 'pop up’ food van a couple of nights a week during the summer holidays. Fish and chips, pizza and waffles have been on offer on certain evenings. The site hosts the ‘smallest pub in Crantock’: the Piskie Inn with a good range of beverages on sale.

A bus stop is sited at the entrance to Trevella Holiday Park, should you wish to explore the local area by public transport.
Newquay has its own railway station and airport.

Trevella Holiday Park is set amongst rolling farmland and yet only a 5 minute drive from the amazing Crantock Beach (seasonal lifeguard patrol). Enjoy the opportunities for swimming, surfing, body boarding, stand-up paddle boarding etc. (lessons and equipment hire: Big Green Adventure based in Crantock car park!).

You may prefer the tidal Gannel Estuary, ideal when the tide is out creating 'puddles' and small pools for supervised children’s play. 'Scoop' ice cream offers coffee etc. and of course delicious ice cream! Cargo Coffee also offer refreshments on the beach. You can walk to Pen Pol on the Gannel Estuary in about 20 minutes.

Other nearby beaches include Porth (or Polly) Joke - a smaller beach (only accessible by walking), the famous Fistral Beach, Holywell, Perranporth and Newquay town beaches, all just minutes' away. The walks and scenery are beautiful and enjoyable every season!

Newquay also boasts a zoo, aquarium, indoor leisure pool, soft play centre and boating lake to name just a few of the local amenities.

Further afield you might like to explore St Ives, Tintagle, the Eden Project, St Michael's Mount, Falmouth, Truro and of course the numerous smaller communities and beauty spots. The possibilities across the county of Cornwall are endless and perfect days out are waiting, regardless of weather or season.

Locally, we can suggest places you might like to visit, places you might like to eat at and local 'hidden gems'. Cornwall is your 'oyster'!
