Our 3 bedroom holiday cottage in Pembrokeshire sleeps 5, plus a baby/toddler, and is totally dog friendly.
The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, small freezer, standard fridge, microwave, electric hob and oven, plus breakfast bar area. The dining room has a table and chairs for 6, plus a high chair. Both the kitchen and dining room have a tiled floor.
Within the carpeted lounge you will find an open fire (with basket of logs provided), comfortable seating and a TV and DVD player.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king size bed, TV and views looking out across the valley. The twin bedroom also has a TV, with views to the front. At the rear of the cottage is a single bedroom and bathroom, which has a walk-in shower. A travel cot and baby bath are available too.
Outside we have a secure courtyard for young children and dogs, plus a large enclosed garden that wraps around the cottage.
Dogs are welcome at no additional charge.
Our holiday cottage is in a semi-rural location at Cilgerran, in the lovely Welsh county of Pembrokeshire. There are pubs within walking distance of the cottage, as well as a pet shop at the end of the lane and a local shop in the village.
Local beaches include Poppit Sands, Newport and New Quay, which are all dog friendly, all year round.
Cardigan is the nearest town, where you will find a Tesco, Aldi, B & M etc. The Cardigan coastline, where dolphins are often seen, It just a short drive away.
Places to visit include Welsh Wildlife Centre and Cilgerran Castle, both on the other side of the village from Parcllwyd Cottage. Other places to visit include New Quay Honey Farm, Folly Farm, Dyfed Shire Horse Farm, Oakwood Theme Park and Wickedly Welsh Chocolate.
Activities in the area include horse riding, fishing, golf, water sports, walking and bird watching.
