Downstairs is a small kitchen diner with Belling range cooker, a microwave, fridge, washing machine and table & chairs. There’s also a cosy lounge with gas wood burning stove, 40” TV/DVD player and Wi-Fi.

Stairs lead up to a large double bedroom with TV, a bunk bedded room and a bathroom with shower attachment over the bath.

There are also some spaces at Hannafore on the roadside.

Just a few minutes’ walk from the cottage is the Jolly Sailor pub, a small café, Spar shop and a delicatessen. At the Quay you can get a 50p ferry ride to East Looe (or 5-10 minute walk over the bridge). West Looe has Hannafore beach with lovely views of Looe Island and a coastal path to Polperro, but the main beach is in East Looe. Also in East Looe are many independent shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs waiting to be explored. Watch the fishing boats go out or have trip in a glass bottomed boat around the island.

Places to visit include the Monkey Sanctuary, about 5 miles away and well worth a visit. There’s also the Eden Project (40 minute drive) or a trip to Plymouth on the train from Looe to Liskeard where you pick up the main line.

There are details of more places to go in the Visitor book in the cottage.
