The caravan is very modern, being only 3 years old, with gas boiler, central heating, double glazing, a stand alone fire in the lounge/diner and a modern TV (DVD player) and radio. There are radiators in all rooms to ensure you are toasty if the weather turns.
The kitchen has a microwave, modern gas cooker (with splashback and overhead extractor) and all cooking utensils, pots, pans, glassware, plates and kettle.
The shower room has a shower, sink, mirror, cupboards and toilet.
There are two bedrooms. The large bedroom is located at the end of the caravan and is very spacious, with a king size bed, bedside units with lamps, a vanity mirror and shelves with stool, plus plenty of cupboard space. The second bedroom has two single beds, one of which is a ‘fold away’ bed (folds down and under the other bed) if it is not needed, plus a central unit and cupboard with shelves.
The Dining / Kitchen / Lounge open plan Area has a modern table adjacent two seating benches with two stools. A long kitchen surface with cupboards above and below, toaster, kettle, microwave and sink with pull out bin underneath. In the Lounge are two sofa seats, tv unit with tv on top with remote (with built in DVD player), digital radio, independent fire, free standing coffee table and lamp.
Outside the caravan there is decking, complete with table with umbrella and chairs. There is also a lock up which houses a fire pit for BBQ evenings, body boards, beach chairs, a wind break and hammer (do not loose please) plus other handy bits.
North Morte Farm Caravan Park is located at Mortehoe in Woolacombe. The walk into the village of Mortehoe is not very far and the village has three lovely public houses/restaurants, a fish and chip shop and a brilliant takeaway. There is also a bistro and the cream tea farmhouse. The village also has an interesting museum with play area and tractor rides on a regular basis.
On North Morte Farm Caravan Park there is a green with wooden train and swings opposite the caravan, but the management of balls is requested on here (signs). Around the corner is a larger climbing area for the older children with slide. A fish and chip van normally attends at least once a week and this is shown on a sign outside the shop, which stocks plenty of everything and has takeaway coffee etc.
Venturing off the Park, the walk from North Morte Farm around the coast and up to the lighthouse is amazing and you can see seals on a good day.
Woolacombe is the next stop from Mortehoe with a beautiful beach and surfing, along with the Red Barn, which is just one of the eateries.
Other beaches include Barracombe, Putsborough, Braunton and Saunton to name a few, or you can travel further to Clovelly, Ilfracombe (Verity) or Combe Martin.
There is plenty to do in this lovely part of the world, and if you want to look at North Morte Farm Caravan Park website you will get plenty of other ideas.
