Camping du Quinquis - Brittany
|Take Aways/Snack Bars|
Our 2006 Atlas Moonstone mobile home for sale on Camping du Quinquis in Le Pouldu, Brittany, is very modern inside.
The living room area has a gas fire set into a maple style coloured unit with mirror, along with a TV & DVD player. The floor is timber covered. There's also a wraparound settee along the large bay window and a table and two stools.
The kitchen area is exceptionally wide and includes a large gas cooker with oven and grill, so no squeezing past each other whilst the food is being prepared.
The bathroom again is large, and comprises a shower, wash basin and toilet. The shower base is also shaped like a small bath with a plug, for those with babies and toddlers who don't like showers.
The first of the three bedrooms is very bright and airy, with two single beds and a wardrobe. In this room there's also a cupboard that houses the gas boiler, which can also be used for your brooms, mops etc. The double bedroom has a lovely double wardrobe with dressing table and again, is very light and airy.
All curtains in each room are brand new this year. The bathroom and kitchen windows have venetian blinds.
The Atlas Moonstone has two exit doors, one at the end where the bedrooms are and one in the living room.
Our mobile home comes fully equipped with cutlery, cups, plates etc., all included in the sale.
For your peace of mind there is also a smoke alarm and fire extinguisher fitted.
Outside there is full deck which has just been treated and painted with wood protector. There is also a shed where the patio furniture and barbecue are stored.
Camping du Quinquis is located approximately 1.5 hours from Roscoff Port - you will need a car to get to the campsite. However, when you do get here, there is so much to do.
The new owners (since March 2019) of the holiday park have invested a lot of time and money and the site has now a huge marquee by the three swimming pools. There is plenty for the kids to do; bike hire, table tennis, boules and a full size tennis court. In the high season there is kids' club (two bouncy castles).
Camping du Quinquis is set in a wooded area with loads of wildlife; the cuckoo was heard by us this year. The woodpeckers can be heard all around the camp and at night the owls can be heard too.
For those who like the beach, there a several just a five minute drive away, towards Le Pouldu.
The nearest supermarket is in Clohars-Carnoet and if you want some retail therapy then there's two huge shopping complexes in Quimperle (20 minute drive). If you want more shops, visit Lorient, which is half an hour down the motorway.
For those of you who like historical buildings/towns, there is a beautiful town called Pont Aven; an artist's dream with many gift shops and restaurants. There's also a quaint village called Doelan where they filmed the French 'Doc Martin'.
The new park owners are hoping to put in new 'pizza ovens' as well as the takeaway.
The Reception staff speak English and those who don't do their very best by using a translator on their phones. So, the Reception is the place to get all your information and details of the best things to do locally and further afield. Just check the notice board each day to check out the daily activities.
Camping du Quinquis is an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful region of France.
