Providing direct contact with the Holiday Home owner
Jan’s Van, B55, is located in the popular Shorefield area of award winning Shorefield Country Park; a quiet, sought after position in a cul-de-sac on the leafy boundary edge of the park.
The location of the holiday home means a variety of wildlife can be seen (including pheasants and rabbits) and all site amenities are within a few minutes’ walk. These include children’s outdoor play areas, gym, heated indoor and seasonal outdoor pools, amusement arcade, Reflections beauty spa, internet access, supermarket, restaurant and bars, launderette, tennis and 5-a-side football courts.
Please note there is a small membership fee to use the Licensed Club facilities - prices are available on request, but currently a membership pass for a family of six for seven nights is £52.90 during the summer high season.
Shorter stays than seven nights and varying arrival days may also be available, please enquire.
My three bedroom mobile home comfortably accommodates six guests and is double glazed with gas fired warm air heating in all rooms, plus a gas fire in the living room.
The kitchen is well equipped with a gas oven, hob and grill, fridge with small freezer box, microwave, kettle, toaster, cafetiere. A hairdryer, iron and ironing board are also supplied.
The double bedroom has a comfortable, full size double bed and there are two twin bedrooms, all with wardrobes. However, one twin room has slightly narrower beds, making it more suitable for children.
The shower room has a toilet and basin. There is also a second toilet with basin.
The living area has a 32" Smart Freeview TV/DVD with a small selection of DVDs and family games. The dining area has fixed sofa seating, plus two stools.
The south-west facing patio area has ample seating, a BBQ, plus raised decked seating area. Adjacent hard standing parking space is available for one car; a second car can be parked on the grass.
Free Wi-Fi is available in the mobile home and throughout the Park.
Beds will be made up ready for your arrival, but I do not normally supply towels and tea towels unless specifically requested, for which there will be a small hire charge.
Tea, coffee, milk and cooking essentials such as seasoning and cooking oil, are also provided to welcome you on arrival.
A high chair, bed guards (anti-roll guards) and/or sturdy travel cots are also available at no extra charge for very young children.
Please note that there is a small fee to use the Licensed Club facilities if required. Prices are available on request, but currently a membership pass for a family of six for seven nights is £52.90 during the summer high season.
For larger families or family friends wishing to holiday together, I do have a second holiday home situated very close on Shorefield Country Park – please see Ref 7991 on this website.
