Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac we have the advantage of being close to all amenities without the intrusion of through traffic or pedestrians en route to other areas of the site. The main complex and children's play area is only a couple of minutes walk away. Access to the beach is only a 5 minute walk.

You can see Filey Bay from the caravan and a secure wrap around decking enables you to sit comfortably in outdoor wicker chairs and just watch the world go by, table and chairs are also provided for you to eat al fresco if you wish. There is a private parking area next to the caravan and a grassed area for you to enjoy, either sunbathing or for the children to play. When the sun is shining this area enjoys it all day into the evening. A large play area for the children is also close by.

A light and airy open plan sitting/dining area is adjacent to a fully equipped kitchen with all modern conveniences. If the weather turns cool we have a gas fire and newly installed double glazing and doors to ensure your comfort. As the gas is piped in there is no need to worry about the bottled gas running out. You can snuggle up in the lounge and enjoy a 40” flat screen TV and DVD player with a selection of films. A multitude of cupboards provides more than adequate storage in this area.

One of the sofas opens up into a double bed and there is also additional wardrobe space at the side of the sofa.

A separate WC and wash hand basin is located next door.

Down the hallway there is a shower room with wash hand basin and WC, which also connects to the main bedroom as en-suite facilities.

The double bedroom is the full width of the caravan giving plenty of space around the bed, with bedside tables with lamps, fitted wardrobes to one wall and a built-in dressing table to the other side of the room.

Heating is provided in the bedrooms by oil filled radiators.

The twin bedroom has two free standing beds and good wardrobe space.

Bed Linen Hire

Don’t want the hassle of making up beds on your arrival? We can provide all your bed linen and have the beds made up ready for you if you wish. The additional cost per stay is £25 for the double bedroom and 2 single beds. A further £10 is charged for the sofa bed if required.

Please specify when booking if required.

Please bring your own towels and tea towels.

Bookings

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking to secure your dates. See full terms and conditions.

Full payment of the balance is required 6 weeks prior to the start date of your holiday, together with the breakages bond of £100.

The breakages bond will be returned within 7 days if no breakages or damage have occurred.

As this is our family holiday home and in line with the site rules, smoking is NOT permitted in the caravan. If any evidence of smoking is found within the caravan, the breakages bond/deposit will not be returned.

Pets: please ask - well behaved dogs are welcome; a charge of £35 per week applies, pro rata £5 per night for the first pet, additional pets will be charged at £2.50 per night with a maximum of 3 allowed per booking.

About the Area

Reighton Sands Holiday Park caters for all age groups and offers a lovely heated pool and outdoor lazy river with Jacuzzi and sun loungers.

Off from the lounge garden is a secure fenced outdoor play park area safe for the kids to play whilst indoors is a soft play area, amusements and also nightly entertainment in the newly renovated showbar.

Outdoors there is a golf course and pitch and putt (equipment is available to hire.

The site runs a train service to and from the beach where a new café is now located.

Site amenities requiring membership* include the on-site pub (The Hawkswood), live entertainment in the show bar, 9 hole golf club course, putting green, indoor heated pool, outdoor heated lazy river and outdoor Jacuzzi, kids' club, restaurant and take away. Other activities are available for the children to take part in which you can book at the park, subject to availability, these include, archery, football, target shooting, water activities, nature rockz.

Site amenities not requiring membership include the grocery shop, launderette, beach access and beach train. Other outdoor play areas are available on site.

Out & About

There’s plenty to do off site too, including the beaches, nature reserves, water sports, scenic walks and local pubs; The Cottage, The Dottril and The Royal Oak are all dog friendly and only a short drive away. The Piebald specialises in remarkable pies, as well as the more traditional main menu, though dogs are not allowed. All serve excellent fresh local produce. There is also fishing, amusements and many other East Coast attractions at a variety of resorts. Further details and brochures are provided in the caravan for your information. Places to visit locally include Filey, Bridlington, Scarborough, Flamborough and Whitby.
