We offer a comfortable, centrally heated, well equipped, self-catering holiday home on the rural, semi-wooded Castle Brake Holiday Park, situated within an area of beautiful countryside.
FLEXIBLE WITH HOLIDAY LENGTHS!
Although we have to show fixed numbers of nights in the Price List, we are flexible as to the number of nights that can be booked, providing the minimum number is four and the maximum is fourteen. The price for periods other than those shown in the Price List will be charged pro rata.
Our holiday home is best suited to those who want a quiet and relaxing holiday in pleasant, rural surroundings. Accommodation is for up to four persons. We regret that pets are not allowed.
Access to the home is by a short set of steps. You will find a spacious lounge with ample seating, a wall-mounted flame effect warm air fire, coffee table, CD player and a DVD/TV (please bring your own CDs and DVDs). WiFi is available (chargeable online). T+he kitchen is modern and well equipped and there is an open plan dining area for four people. The shower room has a good shower, wash basin and toilet.
Sleeping facilities include a comfortable main bedroom with double bed, dressing table, ample clothes storage, shaving point (200-250 V AC) and en-suite toilet. The second bedroom has two single beds which are best suited to children and has further clothes storage. Beds are made up prior to your arrival using duvets as the main covering. We do not provide cots, extra beds or bedding.
We provide shower, hand and kitchen towels, as well as shower gel (not shampoo), hand soap and washing up liquid.
Electric wall socket safety covers are provided if needed.
There is free parking for one car adjacent to the home. Additional vehicles are charged for at park reception.
There is an on-site laundry, childrens' play area, woodland walk and the Castle Inn bar/restaurant (scheduled opening times 6pm - 11pm, food served until 9pm, closed Wednesday and Sunday).
Some of the many attractions well worth a visit include Bicton Park Botanical Gardens, the Pecorama model railway centre, with its gardens and garden railway at Beer, Crealy Family Theme Park, the donkey sanctuary near Sidmouth, Sidmouth town and the Seaton Tramway with a wonderful collection of scaled down trams to ride on from Seaton along the Axe Valley to Colyton. There are many beaches in the area, including those at Exmouth, Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton.
Castle Brake Holiday Park is the sister park to the much larger Ladram Bay Holiday Park, situated a few miles away. Here you will find an indoor heated swimming pool, entertainment venue, adventure golf, along with kids and teens activities. It also has its own beach where you can enjoy fishing, rock pooling, swimming, kayaking and spectacular coastal scenery. Some facilities are chargeable - please ask reception.
BOOKING & PAYMENT CONDITIONS
A returnable deposit of £100 is required to secure the booking, the balance being payable at least four weeks prior to due date of arrival, otherwise the booking will be automatically cancelled and the deposit refunded. For bookings made within this four week period the full amount is payable immediately to secure the booking. We do not ask for a damage deposit nor do we charge a cleaning fee. Beds are made up free of charge. Cancellation, with a full refund, can be made up to 24 hours before 2 pm on the due day of arrival. We reserve the right to charge for any damage to the property caused during your stay.
