New for the 2019 season, our caravan to let is located on a G95 of South Bay Holiday Park, which has plenty of space around & is generally safe for children to play. Parking spaces are next to caravan.

G95 is a 6 berth, Rio Gold, 36ft x 12ft caravan with one double master bedroom (with TV and plenty of space for a travel cot) and one twin bedded room, plus one twin pull-out bed in the lounge.

It is in excellent condition and comes complete with a TV & DVD player in the lounge, along with a fridge freezer and all new cutlery, crockery, toaster, microwave, etc. etc, plus many extras not found in other caravans – just to make your stay as nice as possible.

The caravan has full electric heating (with an additional gas fire) and is double glazed for your comfort on those cold or dreary days.

This caravan also has a veranda and is located on a flat site location, in a quiet cul-de-sac.

The area around the caravan is generally quiet, and it is just short walk to the site facilities.

All bedding is provided.

All normal site facilities are available and included in our prices, i.e. club, playground, shop etc.

For larger families or friends wishing to holiday together, we do own other caravans on this holiday park – please see: ID 3881, 3881b, 3881c and 3881e on this website for further details.

Location

South Bay Caravan Park is close to beaches, Torquay and Paignton. For full details visit our personal website (link above). Other places of interest locally include:

St Mary’s Bay - A sandy beach which is a short walk from caravan with about 100 steps to get to it - easy going down, but a bit harder coming up! Nothing here other than sand, water and peace.

Shoalstone - With rock pools, open air sea water pool, a little café and toilets. You can walk into Brixham via the harbour.

Broadsands - This is on the route towards Torquay and just outside of Brixham about 10/15 minutes’ drive. It offers car parking and all facilities, including beach hut hire, canoes boats etc. This is a very safe sandy beach.

Goodrington - Just another 5 minute drive towards Torquay, again with all facilities, including a family restaurant. The beach is a mix of sand and tiny pebbles; very safe, with toilets, amusement arcade, pedal swans and motor bumper boats on the lake. There's also electric cars for the children, walks around the beach, and you can even walk into Paignton if you have the energy.

Paignton - A seaside town, again only another 5 minutes on towards Torquay, with loads of shops, amusement arcades, pier and everything else you might want, including the beach.

Torquay - The main local town with a beach and sand, but not as much as the others. There's also lots of large department stores, shops, other facilities, amusements, restaurants, cinemas, theatres etc. etc.

Babbacombe - Through Torquay about 10 minutes’ drive along the coast, this is a cliff type area with cliff railway to the beach or a long walk. The miniature village is worth a visit, also Bygones, which is a Victorian museum with a difference; walk amongst the shops and see and smell things gone by - it is an interesting place for all of the family.

Stoke Gabriel - This is on the estuary, with a lake as well; if you want to go and catch crabs this is where to go. Record catch so far is my niece, 140 crabs in one hour - beat that! There is a café, parking and walks around the village; ideal for picnics.

Dartmoor - Get away from everything here, with ponies, sheep and cows all in the roads. There are also lakes, walks, hills, fishing and lots of other things to do and explore.

This is just a snapshot of the area; we have been here many times over many years and still find new places every visit.

NB: Parking

The parking tickets allow you to park in any Torbay car park and therefore you can use all of the time you pay for, wherever you go. You can buy a weekly ticket for about £33 which covers all of Torbay. This is available online or at the Tourist Information Centre, one of which you will find in Brixham.
