Beautiful waterside holiday apartment overlooking Port Grimaud Marina in the Bay of Saint-Tropez. This is a neutrally decorated, bright and airy apartment to let, situated in the ‘Venice of France’.
This top (2nd) floor, one bedroom, mezzanine, waterside apartment in Port Grimaud, offers stunning 180 degree views over the marina and the yachts below.
The apartment has an open plan living space with lounge area, including a double sofa bed, lamps and fan/wall heaters. The kitchenette has a fridge, microwave and George Foreman Grill, plus single bowl sink unit with mixer taps.
Full width sliding glass doors from the lounge area lead onto the terrace where you will find a table, chairs and parasol to enjoy the beautiful views from the terrace over the marina and yachts.
The bathroom is accessed from the hallway and has a full size bath with shower over, a wash basin and heated towel rail. A separate WC is also accessed via the hallway.
The mezzanine area houses the double bedroom, which has a 4'6" double bed, wardrobe area with storage baskets, along with a bedside table with lamps and fan. The windows offer views towards Grimaud Castle.
The apartment has ceramic tiled floors to the ground floor and terrace, with laminate flooring on the mezzanine.
There is a secure parking space opposite the apartment, which is accessed via an electronic gate (using key fob) for guests to use. The permit is in the apartment and must be displayed in the car windscreen.
The residents’ water taxi service runs from June to September, with permits in the apartment for you to use during your stay.
Port Grimad, Cite Lacustre (Lakeside City), is the 'Venice' of France with waterways that house beautiful waterside houses and apartments. It truly is a sailing paradise.
The residents’ water taxi in Port Grimaud runs to the small square (Francoise Spoerry), where there are a handful of restaurants, a launderette and mini supermarket, along with the large square where there is a twice weekly market (Thursday and Sunday) and numerous restaurants, bars and shops. The Port Grimaud church is also here and for one euro you can climb to the top of the church and see the amazing views from all around - well worth one euro!
You can rent electric boats to sail around the marina too, or you can get the Bateaux Verte from here, which goes across to Saint Tropez, Saint Maxime and even further to Porquerolles.
There are two beaches at Port Grimaud (with the water taxi going to both), the small beach is only for the use of residents of Port Grimaud, the larger beach is not private. The large beach is about a 5 minute walk with the small beach about a 10 minute walk. Pampelonne beach, with its famous Le Club 55 restaurant, is about a 15 minute drive away.
You can also hire pedaloes, jet skis, go parasailing or windsurfing.
There are numerous hilltop villages to visit in the area; Grimaud, Gassin, Ramatuelle to name a few. Vineyards are plentiful and the local rosé is very nice! There are several supermarkets quite close to the apartment too; Geant Casino (2 minutes) and Leclerc at Cogolin (about 5 minutes in the car).
There is crazy golf 3 minutes away and restaurants and bars are about a 2-5 minutes walk from the apartment.
A visit to Saint Tropez is a must. There is a market on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, many, many restaurants and of course the superyachts in the harbour, designer shops and ice cream shops – it is all there!
