Our caravan is situated on the sea front giving panoramic views of the sea, and is just a few minutes’ walk from the amenities provided by Parkdean Resorts (for a small charge). For those guests that have already stayed with us, due to coastal erosion several of the caravans had to be moved back. We are one of those , we still have the sea view but we are closer to the road .
The main bedroom has an en-suite toilet and sink. With wall lights over each side of the king size bed there is no need to worry about falling in the dark. It has 2 spacious wardrobes, cupboard space, a vanity desk and hairdryer and straighteners, along with a small TV. There is also a travel cot should you need it, or by all means use it as a play pen on the balcony or in the lounge.
The twin bedroom has a wardrobe and wall lights over each bed. There is also cupboard space ideal for hiding those midnight feasts. There is a TV with built-in DVD player, so please feel free to bring along your little one’s favourite bedtime DVD or use one of the many DVDs in the caravan and finish off what the sea air and fun activities have started and send the kids off to sleep to wake refreshed for another day of adventure.
The shower room has a spacious shower with seating shelves if needed, a wash basin and toilet. There is also a heated towel rail and a storage cupboard.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils and crockery. There is a gas cooker with extractor hood, microwave, toaster, kettle and full size integrated fridge and freezer. There are plenty of storage cupboards too, so one trip to Tesco in either Hornsea (the closer) or Bridlington and your food shopping is done for the whole of your stay or many of the supermarkets will deliver to the caravan. The latest addition is a Dolce Gusto machine.
The open living space has a dining area consisting of dining table and 4 chairs with overhead lighting. There is a high chair should you need one.
The lounge area has ample seating, which incorporates the pull-out double bed, along with a large DTV with DVD player. Although there is central heating throughout all rooms, there is a wall-mounted fire should you need it - or just put the light feature on to give a cosy glow at the end of the day. There are also some board games and playing cards should you want to stay indoors. Knowing how important it is these days to be able to access the internet, we provide Wi-Fi in our caravan;
Outside on the balcony there are 2 chairs, a rocking sofa and a table if you want to relax and do a spot of people watching, or just soak up the scenery and sound of the sea. If you wish to sit out until the early hours there are outside lights on the caravan both at the side and front.
Extras included in the rental cost include a table top ironing board and iron, hoover, hairdryer, cleaning products, board/card games, table top football, a kite and DVDs. Toys and spades to use in the sand. There is a limit on the WIFI of 20gb per week (I only use 5gb per month so most people won't go over the limit).. Any extra can be arranged but at a charge.
Also included in the rental cost is your bed linen which will be made up for your arrival, towels and all gas and electricity
In the case of an accident or injury, all guests stay in our caravan at their own risk. We accept no responsibility so you may wish to take out holiday insurance to take care of any unforeseen accidents. For a few pounds, it is better to be safe than sorry! We do not provide insurance, this is down to you if you think you may need it.
All that is left to say is I hope if you choose to stay in our holiday home by the sea and you go home with a whole lot of lasting happy memories.
We accept the following: Weekly and fortnightly stays, starting Saturday or Sunday; 4/5 night stays, starting Sunday or Monday.
Other dates may be booked depending on availability. However, we only offer Saturday to Saturday stays during school summer holidays.
