Caravan Description

Our caravan is a 2010 Regal Elegance, which is situated in the White section of Waterside Holiday Park, just a 2 minute, level walk from the main area of the park.

It is a well set out caravan with a generous sized master bedroom, which has a king size bed and en-suite, and a twin bedroom with 2 single beds. There is an additional pull-out double bed in the lounge area to allow sleeping for 6 people.

The shower room has a walk-in shower, WC and basin.

The living area is open plan with a dining table and chairs, 2 sofas, 40 inch TV, DAB radio, DVD player and PlayStation 3. There are also DVD's, PS games and other games to keep everyone amused, just in case you get any wet days.

We have also provided fans for those long hot summer days/nights.

The well-equipped kitchen has a microwave, kettle, toaster, large fridge with separate freezer compartment, plus all you should need for your self-catering holiday.

Outside we have a UPVC gated decked area with patio furniture to seat six people, solar lighting, with steps down to a parking space next to the caravan for a single vehicle.

Waterside continue to upgrade the park and in 2018 added a further outdoor play area and bar with seating, including a grassed area complete with deck chairs all over looking the sea. Both the Restaurant and the Venue have also been refurbished.

Please Note: Bed linen is not provided but can be hired direct from Waterside for an additional cost. Alternatively, you can bring your own. Towels and tea towels will also need to be brought with you.

Bookings

A £100 holding deposit (non-refundable) is required within 7 days of booking to confirm your dates. The remaining balance must be paid a full 6 weeks before the beginning of your stay.

Unfortunately we have had to introduce a £100 security deposit, which will be refunded once our Cleaning Compnay have confirmed there are no issues. This is not for such things as the odd broken plate or glass or wear and tear. But for major items like duvets, damage to the items in the caravan or the Caravan itself. It will also cover any extra cleaning that is required. This will require payment with the final balance.

Cancellations: We will accept cancellations upto 6 weeks prior to start of your booking, but the deposit will be forfieted. After 6 weeks the full balance will be payabe. If I can re-let the caravan then I will refund the difference between what you have paid and the re-let fee, less the £100 deposit. Please obtain insurance to cover these situatons.

Please also note that Waterside do not allow all same sex groups in hired caravans on their Park - apologies for this.

Location

The caravan is situated in the White section on the 5 Star, award-winning Waterside Holiday Park & Spa site, with sand and pebble beaches just a few minutes’ walk away.

Waterside Holiday Park & Spa is kept in excellent condition and has something for all ages. There are outdoor and indoor pools, as well as a toddlers’ pool, steam room and sauna, gymnasium and a lovely spa (additional cost for treatments).

The Sports Bar has something for everyone; multi-screens for the sports enthusiast, soft play area for the younger children and an arcade area that includes pool tables. There is also food available in the Sports Bar.

Evening entertainment is very popular, with the children's club to start, followed by bingo for the adults and fantastic comedy/music entertainment late into the night.

There is an on-site Spar shop on site which is well stocked, but there are major supermarkets and stores close by (Morrisons, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Co-op) - a car is required for these. There is also an on-site restaurant and fish and chip shop.

As mentioned previously there are sand/pebble beaches close to the park and also a funfair/arcades, but Weymouth town is just a 10 minute bus ride with the bus stopping inside the park and by the arcade by the beach - or it’s a good 40 minute walk. There are shops, arcades, pubs, restaurants and the Sealife Centre. Lodmoor Country Park is also close by, which has Pirate Golf, Go-karts, Sandworld, Rio Grande Model Railway and lovely woodland walks. There is so much to see and do in and around Weymouth - Chesil Beach and Portland are definitely worth a visit!

A little further afield, you will find Monkey World, The Tank Museum, Corfe Castle, Swanage Steam Railway, The Market Towns of Dorchester and Bridport, plus miles of Jurassic coast to explore.
