We love our caravan! It is an amazing place to be, pretty much for whoever you are and whatever you are looking for!

Forget any ideas you may have of a caravan, this one is pretty special; biased I know, but we think it's awesome!

The kitchen - I wish mine looked like this at home! It is ultra-modern, clean (I'm a clean freak) and with all the mod cons, including a microwave, not too bad cooker (highly recommend the pizza at the sports bar), a good size fridge freezer and lots of cutlery, plates and cooking bits.

Within the living room there's a dining table for 4, good sofas, one of which is a perfectly good sofa bed, a not too bad TV with DVD player, a fire for those cold nights if needed, plus lots of cosy cushions!

The two bedrooms comprise a master and a triple. The master has an en-suite toilet, dressing table and lots of space, plus the odd romantic candle or two! Look out for the bulldog - we have one at home who is the light of our life so needed a tribute at the seaside. The second bedroom has one single bed and bunk beds; dinky, cosy and our children love it, yet big enough for big kids too!

The main bathroom has a great shower with an endless supply of hot water, which we love and need when there's a few of you. It comes complete with a hand towel, hand wash and a bath mat - all very pretty, with some pebbles in a jar and some beach twigs arranged by our children for that homely touch!

Outside we have a fab deck area with a SEA VIEW - and you can see the Weymouth laser really clearly. There is a dining table and chairs with stools and cushions for 4, so really easily seats 8. A few solar lights and twinkly lights add to that holiday feel!

If we could, I'd be there all the time, so really hope you like it if you decide to stay.

About the Area

Waterside Holiday Park & Spa really is a special site, full of people from all walks of life and incredibly friendly. We were so impressed the first time we went with friends and never fail to be every time we go.

We can guarantee you'll be addicted to 2p machines by the time you leave, the flashy ducks in your cocktails and the incredible view you have every time you drive over the hill to Bowleaze or take a stroll up to the football field. As far as traditional British holidays go, this one is unbeatable!

Everything you could ever need and want is pretty much a stone's throw from our caravan; it's just 5 minutes to the pool, shop, entertainment, park, football field and spa and a just a tiny bit further for the beach.

The pool has amazing slides and the outdoor pool is a sun trap (when it shines!). The spa is relaxing, so I've been told, we have 3 young children so I've yet to escape there. It offers a great variety of treatments and the gym has everything you could need too.

5 minutes away by car and you're in Weymouth town or take the bus from the site if you'd rather not have the hassle of parking. Weymouth beach is incredible, it brings back so many good memories; Punch and Judy, 99s, donkey rides and endless golden sand and sea. It's very safe too as the water is quite shallow for a good way out. The harbour is so pretty and shopping in town is not bad either.

Further afield there's Monkey World, the Tank Museum, Durdle Door, Lulworth, Swanage and Corfe Castle.... I could go on and on and on. Some things cost more money yes, but there is so much to do that is free and those are often the better things anyway.

One thing I can say is don't forget your change - I wasn't joking about those 2p machines, I still have my heart set on a dog from Secret Life of Pets and I need more tickets!

Before I forget, for those energetic ones reading this, the outside gym is fab, the run up the hill challenging and the swim from Bowleaze along the shore fantastic. The Triathlon runs every year - one year it will be me!

Please just call with any questions.
