2 bedroom, 4 berth caravan for holiday rental on Heacham Beach Holiday Park in Heacham, Norfolk, benefitting from a south facing veranda with patio set and parasols.

The caravan has a comfortable lounge and dining area; a fully equipped kitchen; one double bedroom; one twin bedroom; a shower room with wash basin; and a separate toilet.

There is a gas fire in the lounge and wall-mounted electric heaters in the bedrooms, bathroom and hallway.

In the lounge area is a Freeview TV/DVD, along with a selection of DVDs, books and games.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker with grill, a microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, kettle and toaster, plus all the crockery, cutlery, pots and pans required. An iron and ironing board is also provided.

Outside is a south facing veranda with a patio set and parasols. There is also a rotary line and charcoal BBQ.

Duvets, pillows and mattress protectors are supplied, but you would need to bring duvet covers, pillow cases, towels and tea towels.

Well behaved dogs with up to date flea treatment are welcome at no extra cost.

Location

Heacham Beach Holiday Park offers many good facilities on site, including a covered swimming pool; The Boathouse Tavern, which serves food and drink and has a small amusement arcade, pool table, bingo and live entertainment in the evening.

Passes for the pool and Boathouse are available from Reception at a small charge.

Also on site is a shop, launderette, children’s play area and sports court.

Free Wi-Fi is available at the Boathouse, or you can sign up to BT WiFinity for the length of you stay for Wi-Fi in the caravan.

The caravan is situated in a quiet area near to the edge of the site and close to steps up to a footpath which leads to South Beach Road in one direction and Station Road and North Beach in the other direction. Both beaches are just a ten minute stroll away.
There is a fish and chip shop at North Beach, along with ice cream and snack places, toilets and an amusement arcade.

There is a lovely pub, the West Norfolk, just short walk up Station Road towards the village, which serves food at lunchtimes and evenings. The Sunday roast and Thursday steak nights are very popular!

At South Beach there is a very good café, an ice cream kiosk, toilets and an outdoor tap (for rinsing sandy children and/or dogs!)

Dogs are allowed on the beaches all year round and most cafés and pubs are dog friendly.

Also there are wonderful sunsets at Heacham as it is on the Wash and actually faces West.

In Heacham village there is a Tesco Express with a cashpoint ( there is also a large Tesco store at nearby Hunstanton) as well as a Chinese takeaway, Indian restaurant , chemist , bakery , post office and various other small shops.

Hunstanton is a short drive away or you can walk there along the promenade that starts at North Beach.
There are plenty of interesting places to visit locally, including Sandringham, Norfolk Lavender, Titchwell Marsh Bird Reserve, Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea. Information leaflets about lots of places can be found in the caravan.

Also, if you want a rest from driving, the local bus service through the village is excellent. The nearest stops are on Lodge Road at the top of South Beach Road. There are several buses per hour going to Kings Lynn in one direction or along the coast via Hunstanton to Wells in the other direction. You will find timetables in the caravan.
