Caravan Description
Our new to us, comfortable, 3 bedroom Willerby Rio caravan is family owned and cared for. It has been refurbished this year including new carpets, newly-upholstered sofas, a full inventory and all bedding.
The caravan consists of:
3 bedrooms - 1 double with a wardrobe and bedside cabinet, and 2 twin rooms with built-in storage. All duvets and pillows are supplied, but you will need to provide your own duvet covers, sheets and pillow cases. However, these can be hired from Reception at a cost of £10 per room, plus deposit. Alternatively, we can do this for you if you inform us at the time of booking - there would be a small fee for this service, plus the initial linen hire cost previously mentioned. This would mean that the caravan will have the beds ready made for you so you can get on and enjoy your stay and save some room in your car!

A separate bathroom with sink and toilet.
A large open plan lounge with new carpet and soft furnishings, dining area with table and a couple of chairs. The lounge features a new 32" TV/DVD combo unit with built-in Freeview, as well as a fold-out double bed for guests 7 and 8.
A fully equipped kitchen with all new fittings, a microwave, fridge, kettle and plenty of new crockery, cutlery and utensils (if anything is missing please ask).
A carbon monoxide and smoke alarm are provided for your safety, along with a fire extinguisher. Please note that smoking is NOT allowed in the caravan.
Outside we are lucky enough to have a great view and lots of space around the caravan for you to use. Please note however, that as this is public space, people can walk across it! You also have plenty of parking.
Gas, electric and water are included in the price.
Bookings & Conditions
A £100 non-refundable deposit is required when booking. The balance is then due 5 weeks before the start of the holiday.
We also offer short and midweek breaks (please ask for details and prices).
Please note that due to park rules and regulations we cannot accept bookings from single sex groups, hen/stag parties or groups aged under 21 as the park is a family park.
Dogs are welcome, but park rules state that no more than 2 dogs are allowed per caravan and also that dogs must not be left unsupervised in the caravan. Perran Sands is very much a dog-friendly site with some fabulous walking areas. The only place that dogs are not permitted is the entertainment complex.
We will hopefully be including a range of DVDs, buckets, spades and a wind-break (TBC).

About the Area
Our caravan is sited on Haven's Perran Sands Holiday Park in Perranporth, North Cornwall. The park is located near the beautiful town of Perranporth, which is a great destination for sun-seekers, walkers and surfers, with a family and dog friendly beach right on the doorstep.The caravan itself is on a delightful pitch in the Pentreath View area of the park, which is a few minutes’ walk from the beach (lifeguards at peak times) but equally as close to the facilities on the park.
Perran Sands is situated in 500 acres of conservation land and sand dunes for you to explore. This leads down to a 3 mile stretch of sandy beach. At low tide you can walk around to Perranporth (and have a drink in the famous Watering Hole pub on the beach). At high tide you can walk across the top or along the road.
The site offers both indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools with a flume*, a Spar supermarket with a gift shop and bakery for any essentials, the Surf Bay themed restaurant, Papa John’s pizza takeaway with delivery service, plus a fish & chip shop (opening times are subject to season - please check with Haven's website). There's also evening entertainment*, games arcades*, play parks, crazy golf and full daytime entertainment schedules. You could also learn to surf or stand-up paddle-board (if the sea is not too rough). There’s basketball and football too - something for everyone! We would recommend looking at and booking these activities as soon as possible as in peak season they can get booked up very quickly. As these are chargeable activities, please refer to the Haven website for prices.
Children's clubs are also available, the details of which can again be obtained directly from Haven.
There is a great selection of local family days out to be had including (to name just a few): Blue Reef Aquarium in Newquay, Crealy’s Adventure Park, the Eden Project, Flambards Theme Park, Newquay Zoo, Paradise Park and Lappa Valley Railway. Information and vouchers will be left in the caravan for you on arrival, which may give you further inspiration!
* Please note that Funworks passes are needed to enter some areas of the entertainment complex. This includes the pool and the main complex. These can be bought from Reception and are NOT included in the holiday cost. Information regarding current prices of the passes can be obtained from the Haven website. The shop, restaurants and takeaways can still be used without passes.
