We do not use Haven to rent our caravan out and we only rent it out during the school holidays to keep it as nice as possible.
Our caravan is an ABI Roxbury; a 38x12, 2 bedroom luxury caravan graded as Platinum by Haven.
It has double glazing, full central heating and thick insulation, so it is really cosy in colder weather, but there's also plenty of opening windows for the warmer days.
The caravan is located on the Fairway Rise section of the park, which backs onto the golf course, so it is lovely and quiet, yet only a short 3-4 minute walk from the main complex.
It has a king size bedroom with an en-suite toilet, plus a walk-in wardrobe, full dressing table, a wall-mounted 32" TV and full height window. The twin bedroom has a wardrobe, 2 single beds and storage cupboards. There is also a pull-out double sofa bed in the lounge area allowing up to 6 people to sleep comfortably.
The spacious kitchen includes a built-in microwave and full size fridge freezer, a gas oven with 4 burner gas hob and extractor fan, plus a kettle, toaster and all cutlery, crockery, pots and pans. The kitchen also has a free standing table and 4 chairs.
The lounge has plenty of seating, a 40" LED TV with built-in Freeview and DVD player, and an electric feature fire. Sliding patio doors lead out onto the veranda. There is also has a door between the kitchen and lounge so it's really warm and cosy.
Within the bathroom there is a double unit shower, toilet and wash basin.
Fairway Rise has piped gas so there aren't any gas bottles to run out.
We have a key safe at the caravan, which we use to give you the keys so there is no need to wait in the queues at reception to check in. We will provide you with the pin number just before your holiday as the code is changed between lets.
Bookings
A deposit of £50 is required to secure the date of your holiday. The remaining balance must be paid in full 4 weeks prior to the holiday start date. Amounts can be paid off the balance at any time.
We also require a £150 security deposit in addition to the price of your holiday for all bookings. This will be fully refunded if the caravan is in an acceptable condition when left. This is also to paid 4 weeks before your holiday start date.

About the Area
Reighton Sands Holiday Park is in the North East of England with spectacular sea views and unspoilt beaches.The park offers excellent facilities that are perfect for all of the family: golf; target shooting; zip wire; heated swimming pool; outdoor lazy river; tennis; Mash and Barrel pub/restaurant; fish and chips; beach café; Spar convenience store and gift shop.
Sand by name and sand by nature - we're surrounded by the stuff here! Follow a steep path from our park (or jump on the train?) and you come out at a golden beach. It's so close you can pop back for lunch in our bar and restaurant or grab a snack and an ice-cream from our beach café. Spend some hours in the pool, or take in the sea views - our sloping cliff location has so many.
Our caravan is in an excellent location at the back of the park close to the golf course, yet is still close to all amenities, amusements, takeaways, launderette, recycling centre etc.
Out & About
The site offers a regular bus service into Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough. Filey is a 15-20 minute walk along the beach and approximately 5 minutes in the car. Bridlington is approximately 10 minutes drive in the car and Scarborough is approximately 10-15 minutes in the car.
Places worth visiting nearby include Whitby Abbey, Scarborough Sea Life Centre, Oliver's Mount racetrack, Flamingo Land Resort (fun park and zoo), Eden Camp, Sewerby Hall, York Minister Cathedral, York Castle Museum, Jorvik Viking Centre and the North Yorks Moors, including Goathland, which is the village ITV's Heartbeat was filmed.
